Poker definition

This is a phrased coined by author David Sklansky about the basic principle of deception in poker. To sum up… you win at poker whenever you induce your opponents to make a decision that would have been different if your cards were revealed, whereas, you lose at poker when you make a decision that would have been different if you could see your opponent's cards.
