I know you've been awaiting the dramatic ending of the bromance between Kevin Hart and Usain Bolt. Along with Daniel Negreanu as the moderator/referee, the celebrities squared off in a series of challenges at the PCA in the Bahamas to complete their #GameOn series.
In June 2017, gold medal Olympian track star Usain Bolt and Hollywood comedian Kevin Hart commenced #GameOn for PokerStars, a competition in which they tried to outdo one another on social media. The fun marketing enterprise was supposed to promote the fun aspect of poker, while leveraging their social media platforms. Apparently, the two celebs reign over a combined following of 140-million strong. Of course, that included dormant accounts, bots, and trolls, but hey… 10 figures on social media is impressive anyway you cut it.
According to a PokerStars PR blast, "The most recent series saw them complete a set of challenges to test the core qualities and skills of poker, including reading opponents, emotional control, and bluffing."
Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications at The Stars Group, explained "The #GameOn competition highlights the variety of skills it takes to be a good poker player including endurance, street smarts, bluffing, strategic thinking and reading your opponent. At the same time, Kevin and Usain show the tremendous fun and friendly social competition at the heart of poker."
During the 2018 PCA in the Bahamas, the fastest man alive was pitted against the funny man in an all-out sprint. The Olympian heavyweight had a tremendous advantage in contest that was dubbed the "ultimate beach race." Race captain, Daniel Negreanu, awarded Kevin Hart a head start of 30 meters in the 100-meter race. Negreanu determined the advantage based on height. Hart only had to complete a 70-meter sprint versus Bolt's full 100.
The two sprinted down the beach somewhere in the Bahamas. The 30 meter-edge was a tremendous advantage and the ending was much closer than you thought. Okay, it was rigged. Bolt never had a chance. Hart had too big of a lead. The true point spread shoulda been +20 meters.

Bolt went to the felt to exact revenge in a heads-up hold'em match. According to PokerStars HQ, "The final challenge in this phase of the series is designed to test the core qualities and skills of poker, by opening with the two mis-matched celebrities competing in a 100-metre sprint followed by a heads-up poker match."
"Let the ass shopping begin," was among the early shit-talking by Kevin Hart.
"The little funny man won't be laughing much longer when I take all his chips at the poker table," retorted Bolt.
Negreanu introduced a challenge cards to sweeten the pot in which whomever lost the pot would have to do the activity listed on the card. The first challenge card got added to an all-in pot in which, Bolt tried to double up with Ace-Jack versus Hart's pocket sevens. Bolt lost and according to the challenge card, he had to eat 9.58 chicken nuggets in 9.58 seconds. The speedster stepped up to the challenge and accepted the food prop bet. Bolt got off to a tremendous start, which got derailed when Hart taunted him.
Negreanu flagged Hart for the offense and Bolt won the nugget challenge. Watch the hijinks from first installment of the heads-up battle here...
