    Breaking NewsScott Blumstein wins 2017 WSOP Main EventSay hello to the newest champion! Scott Blumstein from New Jersey won the 2017 WSOP Main Event Championship. The New Jersey pro won $8,150,000 for fading a field of 7,221 runners. On the third and final day of the final table, Blumstein came in with an overwhelming lead. French pro Ben Pollak busted in third place, which set up a heads-up bout between Blumstein and Dan Ott. Blumstein held a sizable advantage over Ott, who could not rally from behind and pull off the upset. Ott settled on a runner-up finish and $4.7 million in cash for a consolation prize. Blumstein only needed 65 hands to send Ott to the rail. Blumstein now added his name to an illustrious list of Main Event Champions.     Breaking News2017 WSOP: Blumfield leads final 3 in Main EventThe 2017 WSOP Main Event final table played down from 7 players to the final 3 on Friday night. We are only 2 more bustouts from crowning a new champion. Scott Blumfield came into the second day of the final table with a massive lead. He built up his stack to 226M. Dan Ott moved into second with 88M. And the short stack is Benjamin Pollak with 45.8M. Damien Salas got eliminated in seventh place. Bryan Piccoli's tear-jerking run ended in sixth place. Former November Niner Antoine Saout hit the bricks in fifth place. The U.K.'s John Hesp and his magical run came to an end when Ben Pollak picked him off in fourth place.
