The first two episode of the PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge has been released. The Cash Challenge filmed in Monte Carlo featured Mila Monroe from Germany battling a festive table that included comedian Kevin Hart and a quartet of pros: Liv Boeree, Charlie Carrel, Faraz Jaka, and Daniel Negreanu. They played a NL cash game with €25/€50 blinds and a min buy-in of €10K and €25K max. The first episode included a crazy hand from Kevin Hart that was utterly redonkulous.

Televised cash games are back in the mix. PokerStars TV introduced a new series called the PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge. The format is the standard amateur a.k.a. the challenger versus pros cash game. Can they survive swimming with sharks? In the inaugural episode, comedian/actor Kevin Hart was the celebrity guest at the table that featured four pros. For once, Daniel Negreanu was not going to be the chatty one at the table.

In the first episode of PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge, amateur Mila Monroe from Germany took on a table that included Liv Boeree, Kevin Hart, Charlie Carrel, Faraz Jaka, and Daniel Negreanu.

The format was simple: 150 hands at €25/€50 NL stakes with a minimum buy-in of €10K and table max at €25K. Monroe the challenger started with €12.5K and got to keep whatever she had at the end of the session. The other players had option to rebuy up to €25K. At the start of the first episode, Kevin Hart, Daniel Negreanu, and Charlie Carrel all bought in for max $25K.

Monroe said she was eager to play against Kevin Hart because he was the non-pro and the one player she thought she could bluff.

"I'm excited to have cash game poker on TV," extolled Stapes.

The mood was jovial. Charlie Carrel was sporting a cat hoodie. Kevin Hart cracked jokes.

Monroe and Hart got involved in a hand in which they both had nothing. She tried to bluff him and he made a donkey-call with King-high. Watch the Hart hijinks during the first episode of the PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge here...

In the second episode of PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge, Mila Monroe started with €18K after she got off to a good start in the opening episode. By the end of this one, Charlie would be stuck a full 25K buy-in. She how it went down...
