Poker definition

A tell is when a player reveals essential non-verbal information about their hand by doing something specific with their physical body or how they are speaking. When some players bluff, they might hold their breath; others breathe more deeply. Some players might clam up while others talk nonstop. Tells are different for every player, which is why you must pay attention to try to get a read on a player by seeking out tells.
