Behold, the triumphant return of cash game madness! Poker After Dark was a popular televised poker series that got shelved by NBC back in 2011 in the wake of Black Friday. Poker After Dark will re-booted for live stream purposes on PokerGO. The subscription-based streaming service previously covered the 2017 WSOP in Las Vegas. And now, the team at PokerGO will be behind the reboot of PAD.
Poker After Dark will be a $100,000 buy-in cash game hosted at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas. The stakes will be $200/$400. Starting on Monday, August 12, Poker After Dark will air three nights in a row. The line-up will be slightly different each night. On the first night, Tom Dwan makes his first appearance playing poker under the bright lights in Vegas in years. Kid Poker will be yapping it up on the first episode back. Also scheduled to appear on Sunday… Antonio Esfandiari, Jean-Robert Bellande, Lauren Roberts, and Bill Klein. Doyle Brunson and Andrew Robl will replace Kid Poker and Antonio Esfandiari for the final two nights. Yes, we will also get to see Texas Dolly in action.

The announcement of Tom Dwan's participation whipped the poker community into a tizzy. It's one thing for PAD to return to the fold, but it's an entirely different beast that Durrrr is involved. Tom Dwan became a mystery the last few years. He was holed up in Asia somewhere playing cash games against the wealthy businessmen from China.
Then there's the rumor mill and it was difficult to separate fact from fiction. Was Dwan really working off a debt to foreign entities? Was he dodging outstanding debts from sportsbetting high balla Haralabob? Only Dwan and the parties involved know the real story.
