Event #58 $1,500 NL - Final Results

Two players from the Czech Republic at the final table... and one of them went all the way.
John Phan bubbled off the final table in tenth place. Czech pro Martin Kabrhel busted in eighth place. Lee Watkinson went deep, but the chimp-loving pro from Vegas was dunzo in sxith place.
Tim Miles busted in third place late on Day 3. The heads-up battle was set between Spain and the Czech Republic. However, the final two would not have an after-midnight showdown (er, more like chasing dawn and a sunrise showdown). Alas, a fourth day was added to the Donkament schedule. The final two slugged it out for only 32 hands... but when it was over, Spain had to settle on a runner-up finish as Artur Rudziankov defeated Mario Prats from Spain.
Artur Rudziankov earned a first-place payout worth $396K.
Other notables who went deep in the donkament included... Chris Cornell, Nocolas Careme, Tylor Pau, Alex Queen, Dana Muse, David Brown, Larry Little, Phil Laak, Chance Kornuth, Alex Rocha, Rocco Palumbo, Jonathan Therme, DJ MacKinnon, Danny Wong, Jesus Ferguson, Kenny Hallaert, Mike Dentale, Andre Akkari, Dong Gup, Fabrice Casano, Eric Baldwin, Matt Glantz, Joe Cada, Moon Kim, Natasha Mercier, Alfie Adam, Scott Davies, and Nathan Weed.
