The 2016 WSOP Main Event has been airing on Sunday nights on ESPN. Sure, we all know who is still alive and advanced to the November Nine, but the coverage lets us see the highlights of how each member got there and how Johnny Bax built up his massive stack. Plus, other hijinks along the way.

The November Nine is just around the corner. After all, its officially October. ESPN has been airing episodes of the $10,000 buy-in 2016 WSOP Main Event on Sunday nights (right up against Sunday Night Football on NBC).
This year's Main Event attracted 6,773 runners for a total prize pool worth $63.3 million. The top 1,011 places paid out with every member of the eventual November Nine locking up a min-cash of $1 million for ninth place. First place in the Main Event will pay out $8 million! And second place will walk away with $4.6M.
Episode 8 of the WSOP Main Event kicked off with 63 players remaining. It also specialized on “seat draws” and getting stuck next to the chatterbox, know-it-alls at the table. Yeah, it's one thing to be a table captain and it's another to show off for the cameras.
