And we're officially dunzo with WSOP Main Event Day 2C. All the remaining players will combine into one field for Day 3. Artan Dedusha from the U.K. bagged up the most chips at the end of Day 2C with over 680K. Also, American pro Ryan Hughes was lurking in the top 5. A total number of approximately 2,600 players remain with the top 1,084 players getting a cut of the prize pool. The money bubble is expected to pop late on Day 3.

Survive and advance. The Main Event continued at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas. The final stage of Day 2 played out their flight. Day 2C started with nearly 3,300 players who survived the opening flight on Day 1C.
The exact number is fuzzy but approximately 2,600 players will return on Day 3, where all three flights will officially combine into one.
A handful of ex-champs are still alive including... Johnny Mofo Chan, Scotty Nguyen, Carlos Mortensen, and Joe Cada. Could they pull off a second Main Event? It's still way too early to tell, but they survived and advanced.

When Day 2C concluded, Artan Dedusha from the U.K. bagged up the big stack. And only 5 other players held 500K or more. Among that group was pro Ryan Hughes, who has had a spectacular 2017 WSOP with more cashes than I can count. France's Remi Castaignon bagged up at least 420K.
