Benjamin Zamani won Event #4 $1,500 Omaha 8 for a $238K score. Zamani outlasted a field of 905 runners to win his second bracelet. Saturday night in Sin City. Nothing quite like it. Three more bracelets were up for grabs on a frenzied Saturday at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas and in the virtual poker waters. Two players stepped into the spotlight for a second time in their careers: Upeshka De Silva and Benjamin Zamani. De Silva won the SHOOTOUT to collect his second bracelet, and Benjamin Zamani won the Omaha8 bracelet. Both players previous earned bracelets by winning $1,500 donkaments. In Event #3, Upeshka De Silva beat out a tough final table that featured no fewer than three bracelet winners. When the dust settled in the old-fashioned 10-haned shootout, Upeshka De Silva added a second bracelet to his collection.

Upeshka De Silva, originally from Sri Lanka via Katy, Texas, won the first SHOOTOUT on the slate this year. The prize pool fell $3,700 short of a $1M prize pool. De Silva faded a field of 369 single-table specialists and won three consecutive 10-handed tables.

Upeshka De Silva defeated tech whiz/start-up guru Louis Helm heads-up for the win. De Silva's Ace-Jack held up against Helm's Ace-eight for the win.

Also at the final (SHOOTOUT) table... Taylor Paur, Olivier Busquet, Jean Gaspard, and Casey Carroll. Linglin Zeng from China finished in third place for a six-figure score.

De Silva won a donkament back in 2015 for his first bracelet. His WSOP earnings passed the 1M mark. In his WSOP profile, he listed his previous occupation as a "broke poker player."

Benjamin Zamani, Omaha King formerly the DonkSlayer.

Zamani outlasted a marathon Day 3 to step into the winner's circle for a second time since 2015. The German-born, but Florida-loving Zamani won $238K, which pushed him over the $1M mark in career WSOP earnings. Overall, Zamani is closing in on $4M. Zamani won a donkament back in 2015 for his first bracelet and he took second place in a SHOOTOUT.

Zamani beat Jared Hemingway heads-up for the win.

The dispute: $692,460. The crux: America or Canada? 2016 WSOP Main Event Runner-Up Gordon Vayo provided proof he was in Montreal, Canada during the duration of his SCOOP victory last year. The security squad claimed he violated TOS by connecting to the site using a VPN. Vayo responded with a lawsuit against the biggest online poker operator on the planet.

2018 SCOOP begins

Nicolas Dumont wins EPT Monte Carlo

A driving instructor from Paris won the return of the EPT Monte Carlo. Nicolas Dumont faded a field of 777 runners at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Casino to win €712,000. Dumont outlasted a shark-infested final table that included David Peters, Patrik Antonius, and Ole Schemion. Dumont edged out New Zealand's Honglin Jiang heads-up for the title and €712K in cash. Dumont also shipped a Platinum Pass to the 2019 PSPC in the Bahamas.

Taylor Black defeated Darryll Fish heads-up to win the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North America Main Event Championship in Montreal, Canada. Black outlasted a field of 1.954 runners and earned $1,400,000 CAD for his first-place finish. Fish took home $1.2 million CAD as a consolation prize. Anthony Ruberto raked a cool million for third place.

Dylan Wilkerson wins WSOP Circuit Harrah's Cherokee

A WSOP Circuit ring was up for grabs in Cherokee, NC. The $1,675 buy-in Main Event at the Harrah's Cherokee attracted 1,060 players. The prize pool was nearly $1.6 million. Dylan Wilkerson defeated Erick Lindgren heads-up for the bling. Lindgren banked approximately $182K for second place, while Wilkerson won $294,152. This marked a second-career WSOP Circuit win for Wilkerson, who binked the WSOP Circuit Los Angeles at the Bicycle Casino in March 2017.

Daenarys T wins Sunday Million Take 2 for $1 million

An online player from the Netherlands and Game of Thrones fan outlasted 56,310 players to win the Sunday Million 12th Anniversary: Take 2. Yes, ship it to the Mother of Dragons. Daenarys T earned a first-place payday worth $1 million for two days of work. Daenarys T defeated the U.K.'s ThEcLaiMEer heads-up for the victory. ThEcLaiMEer banked $715K for second-place. No overlay this time around. The Take 2 had a $10 million guarantee, which did not kick in because the total prize pool topped $11.2 million.
