And then there were 14. The 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event attracted 541 enrants this year with €1.1 million set aside to the champion. Dario Sammartino and David ODB Baker lead the final 14 players. Anthony Zinno and Julien Martini also still left in the hunt.

The 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event is the marquee event at the King's Casino in RozVegas, where they hosted a 15-event bracelet bonanza during one of the most prestigious non-Vegas events on the poker event calendar. Yes, I purposely intended on using the word event as much as possible in the opening sentence to emphasis that events are common but there can be only one MAIN event. The big sugar granddaddy of them all... the 2019 World Series of Main Event... anchored the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe with 15 bracelets up for grabs this year.
Last year's WSOPE Main Event at the King's Casino attracted 534 runners and Jack Sinclair was the lone wolf left standing. Elio Fox faded the biggest field in WSOPE history back in 2011, which had 593 runners when the event played out in Cannes, France. The WSOPE Main Event attracted 500-plus entrants for the third year in a row.
The 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event featured a €10,350 buy-in and 541 runners took a shot at the WSOPE bracelet and seven-figure payout. The prize pool was worth almost €5.14 million. The top 82 places paid out with €1,133,678 set aside to the champion.
At the end of Day 3, only 42 players remained out of the original 541. French pro Julien Martini held the overall chip lead with nearly 6M. Dario Sammartino was in second place with 3.9M.
By the end of Day 4, only 14 players were alive. Dario Sammartino bagged up the lead with 7.4 million. American pro ODB Baker was second with 7.3 million.
Another American, Anthony Zinno, was third overall with a shade under 7 million. Rifat Palevic bagged fourth overall with 5.1 million. Julien Martini was fifth overall with 4.5 million.
Also still alive... Anh Do, Claas Segebrecht, Daniel Rezaei, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Christian Rudolph, Alexandros Kolonias, Marek Blasko, Jakob Madsen, and Mykola Kostyrk.
The money bubble burst on Day 3. Jack Sinclair did not win back-to-back Main Event titles in RozVegas, but he cashed again this year. Last year's champ busted in 61st place, which paid out €16,805.
Among the notables who cashed thus far included... Felix Schulze, Dragos Trofimov, Alex Foxen, Saar Wilf, Maria Lampropulos, Mustafa Biz, Jacob Baumgartner, Roberto Romanello, Martin Kabrhel, Rene Mueller, Kristoffer Rasmussen, Gianluca Speranza, Harry Ross, Dash Dudley, Benjamin Pollack, Elsky, Shahar Levi, Joao Vieira, Quan Zhou, Jack Sinclair, Max Lykov, Per Reevcrona, Tobias Peters, Jeff Madsen, Ghattas Kortas, Roberto Morra, Roland Israelashvili and Sergey Verkhoturov.
