Nick 'samadhi' Binger secured his second career-bracelet with a victory in 2020 WSOP Online Event #24 $400 NL 8-Handed. Binger outlasted 2,408 runners to swoop up the blinf and $133,412 in cash. On Saturday, Nicholas 'mrfinalt' Kiley outlasted a field of 2,155 entrants to win WSOP Online Event #25 $500 Summer Super Saver for a score worth $149,245. During a Sunday night grind, Ethan 'RampageP' Yau streamed his way to the winner's circle in WSOP Online Event #26 $500 NL Grand Finale. Yau banked $164,494 for fading a field of 2,502 entrants.

Nick Binger capturing bracelet #2 in WSOP Online Event #24

Three more events at the, and three more winners at the 2020 World Series of Poker Online. Two noobs joined the bracelet club with their first-ever victories, while Nick Binger finally broke through to join the multi-winners club with his second bracelet victory. It took nine years, but Binger finally added another bracelet to his collection. Back in 2011, Binger shipped a $5K PLO8 event for nearly $400K and his first bracelet. Now, Binger has one for each wrist.

So, the latest action commenced on Friday. 2020 WSOP Online Event #24 $400 NL 8-Hnaded attracted 1,590 players, who fired away at 818 additional entries, for a total tally of 2,408 runners. They created a prize pool worth a shade under $867K.

The final table for Event #24 $400 NL 8-Handed included... Nick 'samadhi' Binger, Ryan 'Adopt_aDogg0' Leng, Philip "eric_shun" Beesley, Ian "aulululululu" Waldron, Mark "bansman" Bansemar, Norman "abnormality" Michalek, Matt 'Berkey11_S4Y' Berkey, Christian "CalcFather" Calcano.

Ryan 'Adopt_aDogg0' Leng missed the winner's circle, but settled on a score worth $82,440 for second place. Not too shabby, eh? Nick 'samadhi' Binger banked $133,420 plus the bracelet. He can now slap two of those suckers on at the same time... one for each wrist.

The top 330 places paid out in Event #24. Jordan Spurlin bubbled the final table in ninth place. Among the notables and familiar faces who cashed included... Melissa Singh, Scott Hempel, Pete Carini, Ali Imsirovic, Mike Matusow, John Walker, David Poppenfuse, Ted Ely, Stanley Lee, Chris Johnson, Lauren Roberts, Philip Yeh, Brett Murray, Jason Somerville, Galen Hall, Joe McKeehen, Daniel Negreanu, Monh Nguyen, and Chainsaw Kessler.

During a wild Saturday night at the virtual tables, the hosted WSOP Online Event #25 $500 Summer Super Saver, which attracted 1,484 original players, who added 671 additional entries for 2,155.

The final table for the Summer Super Saver included... Nicholas 'mrfinalt' Kiley, Guo Liang 'Ct188' Chen, Weiyi 'wymoney' Mo, Stephen "S.Dot22" Russo, Matt 'berkey11_s4y' Berkey, Kevin "SpecialK333" Calenzo, Richard "Daddyp69" Perrin, Michael "ha8me" Policastro, and Ofir "panda15" Mor.

Berkey made back-to-back final tables. He finished in seventh place on Friday in Event #24. But in Event #25, Berkey missed out on the bling when he busted in fifth place.

ct188 aka Guo Chen took second place, which paid out $92K to the runner-up. Kiley should change his screen name from 'mrfinalt' to 'mrbraceletwinner'. Nicholas 'mrfinalt' Kiley banked $149,245 for the victory and added a bracelet to the score.

The top 330 places paid out in WSOP Online Event #26 Summer Super Saver. Notables who went deep and cashed in Event #26 Summer Super Saver included... Over in WSOP Online Event #26 $500 NL Grand Finale, 1,677 runners fired away at 825 additional entries for a total field of 2,502 entrants. They boosted the prize pool to over $1.1 million.

The final table in the Grand Finale included... Ethan 'RampageP' Yau, Brian 'LakersGTD' Patrick, Mohammad 'Tmomoney' Mufti, Blake 'shampainpopn' Whittington, David 'reallytight' Kim, Jason 'TATTOOMONEY' Scott, Matt 'OMG_Obama' Iles, Joon 'jykpoker' Kim, Michael 'Mike91680' Guzzardi.

Ethan 'RampageP' Yau defeated Brian 'LakersGTD' Patrick heads-up for the cash and bling. Yau won $164,494 live for his streaming audience. Patrick banked $101,669 for a runner-up share. Not too shabby, eh?

Endrit Geci wins 2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event for $775K

The 2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event crowned a champion. The $5,300 buy-in Main Event attracted 1,084 players and a prize pool in excess of $5.4 million. Endrit Geci and Francisco Correia chopped with Geci winning their heads-up battle and $774,838 in cash. Canadian pro Daniel Dvoress finished in third place and Polish pro Dzmitry Urbanovich finished in fourth place.

WPT releases schedule for 2020 final tables for LA Poker Classic, Borgata Winter Poker Open, and Gardens Championship

The World Poker Tour released its final table schedule for four total events, including three from last season that were postponed due to the pandemic. Starting March 10, the PokerGo Studios at the Aria will host the filming of final tables for the conclusion of the 2020 WPT Gardens Poker Championship, 2020 WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open, 2020 WPT LA Poker Classic, and 2021 WPT SHR Poker Showdown.

Next High Stakes Duel includes Hellmuth vs Negreanu

ESPN2 to air WSOP Main Event Final Table and Heads-Up

Get ready for the return of the World Series of Poker on ESPN. The WSOP returns with the 2020 World Series of Poker Main Event to be aired on ESPN 2 starting at 8pm ET, or 5pm Vegas time. The broadcast includes action from the Rio Casino in Las Vega from both the WSOP Main Event final table and the ensuing heads-up match between the winner of the domestic final table and international final table. ESPN's audience will get to see how Argentina's Damien Salas won the 2020 WSOP Main Event bracelet.

RIP Full Tilt Poker, ceases operation this week

Full Tilt Poker is nevermore. The brand, owned by PokerStars, will cease operations this week on February 25. Full Tilt Poker began in 2004 and the online poker site was co-founded by Ray Bitar, Jesus Ferguson, and Howard Lederer. It was shut down on Black Friday in 2011 by the feds and acquired by PokerStars and relaunched in 2012. But now it's time to say goodbye to one of the relics from the poker boom.

Carnival Series returns to Southern Europe on February 21 with 272 events

Carnival Series returns to PokerStars in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal starting February 21 and running through March 11. Chris Moneymaker becomes pitchman for America's Card Room

Chris Moneymaker, the fellow with the best name in poker, recently signed a deal to become a pitchman for America's Card Room (ACR). This happened a month after Moneymaker announced that he and PokerStars parted ways after a relationship that dated back to 2003 when he first made a name for himself by winning the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event and helping usher in the glorious online poker boom.

Doug Polk defeats Daniel Negreanu in High Stakes Feud, Wins $1.2 million

The High Stakes Feud between Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk reached 25,000 hands and Polk came out on top to the tune of $1.2 million after 36 rounds of two-tabling heads-up $200/$00 NL. In the final session, Negreanu lost $256K. The battle lasted a couple of months and despite the pre-challenge venom, the two gained mutual respect for each other by the end.

Video: Hank Azaria's home game including Don Cheadle, Jon Hamm, Michael Cera, Josh Charles

Several of the biggest names in Hollywood played in Hank's Home Game charity event on PokerStars over the weekend. Actor Hank Azaria, mostly known for doing multiple voices on 'The Simpsons', hosted a special virtual home game to help raise money for various charities. Some of his poker-playing thespian friends included Don Cheadle (Oceans's 11), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Michael Cera (Arrested Development), Michael Ian Black (Wet Hot American Summer) and Josh Charles (Dead Poets Society). Michael Cera won $20,000 for First Responders First, a charity for frontline health care workers.

Polk and Negreanu play longest session to date, Kid Poker stuck $946K

Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu played the longest session to date in an effort to finish off this battle later this week. After a 7-plus hour session in Round 35, Kid Poker dropped $209K after nearly 2,000 hands. He was stuck early on and stormed back to dig himself out of a $200K hole, but Polk won two huge hands late in the session to post a big win. They have approximately 1,700 hands to go and Polk is up $946K.

Jack Hardcastle wins WPT Montreal Online, Dan Shak 3rd Place

The 2021 WPT Montreal Online played out at partypoker due to the pandemic forcing the event to the virtual tables. The $3,200 buy-in WPT Montreal Online attracted 888 players and the top 133 places paid out. Dan Shak was the chip leader heading into the final table but he busted in third place. Jack Hardcastle knocked out Rayan Chamas heads-up for the WPT title, $447,859 in cash, and the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup Event.

Ilyas Muradi wins WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open for $809K

Down at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, the World Poker Tour finished out a live tournament. Ilyas Muradi outlasted a field of 1,573 players to take down the $3,500 buy-in 2021 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open. When the dust settled, Ilyas Muradi edged out Robel Andemichael heads-up to win the first place prize worth over $809,515. Ronnie Bardah busted in third place. The final table also included Francis Margaglione, Jesse Lonis, Tsz Shing, and Andy Hwang.

Phil Galfond wins another challenge after Chance Kornuth resigns

Phil Galfond won another Galfond Challenge at Run It Once Poker. With less than 10,000 hands remaining in a 35,000-hand heads-up PLO battle, Chance Kornuth threw in the towel against Phil Galfond. Galfond banked $726,500 through 25,400 hands of $100/$200 PLO. Kornuth lost $250,000 in the side bet with Galfond at 4 to 1 odds. Galfond has now won three out of seven scheduled challenges.
