Oh, Canada! Two players from Canada went the distance to win the last two WSOP Online events and one of them prevented an Italian from winning his second WSOP online bracelet of the month. The 2020 World Series of Poker Online at GGPoker is coming down the final stretch and it's been a weird and wild ride with lots of bumps and bruises. Oh, and how about the cash out scandals and the Main Event overlay? Yeah, 2020 has been one of the craziest years in recent history and that oddness and craziness spilled over into the WSOP Online.
But hey, two more players stepped into the winner's circle for the first time and won coveted WSOP bracelets. And yes, both were from North of the Border (from the Vegas perspective), where there's always been a collection of awesome oddball gamblers and cardslingers over the last half-century.
2020 WSOP Online Event #73 $1,000 NLHE 6-Handed attracted 2,202 entrants and a prize pool in excess of $2.1 million. The top 314 places paid out with nearly $300K set aside to the eventual champion.
