Ryan Leng shipped his third bracelet in 2021 WSOP Event #23 $1,500 8-Game Mix. Michael Prendergast won his first bracelet and $127,428 with a victory in 2021 WSOP Event #24 $600 PLO Deepstack by fading 1,572 runners.

The action at the Rio in Las Vegas continued with several more victors stepping into the winner's circle, but all eyes were on the branded-event known as the Milly Maker. This special weekend warrior event has a $1 million first-place prize for a $1,500 buy-in affair. Daniel Lazrus and his run good continued with a big score in the Milly Maker, which started last Friday and played down to a champion last night.
2021 WSOP Event #17 Milly Maker has a $1,500 price tag and a prize pool worth $7.1 million. A total of 5,326 entrants took a shot at the $1 million first-place prize. The top 799 places paid out with the top eight places earning at least six figures.
The final nine at the Milly Maker included Daniel Lazrus, Darryl Ronconi, Jeffrey Gencarelli, Michael Gathy, Ignacio Moro, Kevin Palmer, Todd Saffron, Adam Sherman, and Sertac Turker. Belgian pro Michael Gathy went super deep, but his magical run ended in fourth place, which paid out $288,715.
Jeffrey Gencarelli's bustout in third place set up the heavyweight bout between Darryl Ronconi and Daniel Lazrus. Ronconi was unable to rally from behind and was knocked out in second place. Ronconi banked $500,125 for a runner-up finish. Not too shabby, eh?
Daniel Lazrus took home $1,000,000 for five long days of work. Kudos. He previously shipped his first bling at the WSOP Online High Roller, but he finally took down a live bracelet.
Philip Verel bubbled the final table in tenth place. 2021 WSOP Event #23 $1,500 8-Game Mix attracted 484 runners and a prize pool worth $646,140. The final six included Ryan Leng, Connor Drinan, Brett Shaffer, Dan Zack, Schuyler Thornton, and Ryan Hughes. Leng and Connor Drinan slugged it out in a wild heads-up battle. Drinan could not land the coup de grace and he ended up getting picked off in second place. Leng banked $137,969 for the victory and slapped a third-bling on his wrist.

2021 WSOP Event #24 $600 PLO Deepstack attracted 1,572 entrants and a prize pool of $801,720. The top 235 places were paid out. The final table included Michael Prendergast, Jeffrey Barnes, Jungwoong Park, Joao Simao, Daniel Wasserberg, Donnie Phan, Eric Polirer, and John Bunch. Michael Prendergast knocked out Jeffrey Barnes heads-up to cruise to the victory and $127,428.
