"Make no mistake, the 2021 WSOP will be the real deal and we're preparing for a full house. Throughout the storied history of the WSOP, this year will be particularly memorable and we're preparing for a poker reunion all players can celebrate. We're beyond thrilled to offer a complete schedule of can't-miss events including all our flagships and the variety players deserve," said WSOP head honcho Ty Stewart.
"We could not be more excited to welcome everyone back to Las Vegas and the Rio," said WSOP Tournament Director, Jack Effel. "The entire WSOP team is hard at work to ensure players have the absolute best experience possible."
Yes, 88 events. There's some tweaks and noteworthy changes.
The Reunion has a $500 buy-in and cards go in the air on October 1 for the welcome back event with a trio of starting flights and a sick guaranteed prize pool.

The Heads-Up Championship also got a bump up to $25,000 from $10K. It's also capped at 64 runners, which should feature some of the best heads-up, high balla specialists in the world.
The branded-events return and anchored on Fridays or Saturdays throughout the series including the Colossus, Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, Double Stack, and The Closer.
The Seniors Event is getting a little bit bigger with two different opening flights and a re-entry option. Time to see the olds gamboool it up!
The WSOP also added Old School Freezeouts to the 2021 schedule to keep an old-school vibe when it was just one person and one bullet per bracelet event.
Also, there's the Poker Hall of Fame Bounty Event on November 17 with all of the HOF players in the mix with bounties on their heads. This special event has a $1,979 buy-in if you're nostalgic for the sepia days of the early days of the WSOP at Binion's Horseshoe.
Oh, and GG Poker is in the mix with the $1,000 Flip and Go presented by GG Poker. If you dig fetish events where it's all about gamboooooling, then check out this live event that originated online at GGPoker.
Finally, the 2021 WSOP Poker Players Championship was expanded to include nine mixed games with the addition of 2-7 Single Draw NL.
