The 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event continued with Day 3 action on Sunday with both Day2 flights combining for a single field. When Day 3 ended, they got close to the money bubble with 1,517 remaining. Antonio Mallol Heredia from California bagged the chip lead after Day 3 with nearly 1.9M. American pro Chance Kornuth is second overall with 1.88M.
The 2023 WSOP chugs along and they came very close to reaching the money bubble late on Day 3. They scheduled to play five full levels, and at the conclusion of Day 3 there were 1,517 players remaining out of the original 10,043 runners with the top 1,507 players earning a piece of the $93.4 million prize pool.
The top five stacks have over 1.7 million in chips. Antonio Mallol Heredia bagged the lead with 1.899M, and he holds a slim lead over three-time bracelet winner Chance Kornuth with 1.887M. Israel's Liran Betito has 1.775M in third place and ahead of Canada's Pei Li with 1.742M in fourth place, and Nicholas 'Dirty Diaper' Rigby in fifth with 1.72M.
Maurice Hawkins entered Day 3 as the chipleader. He lost the lead, but he's still alive and bagged over 1M in chips.
