The 2023 Poker Masters is underway at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas and two events are in the books. Lithuania's Vladas Tamasauskas outlasted a record-setting field of 114 entries to win Event #1 $10K NL for a score worth $239,400. American pro Darren Elias was the last player standing in Event #2 $10K NL and he banked $223,100 and his second PGT title.

France's Simon Wiciak was the last player standing at the 2023 EPT Barcelona €5,300 buy-in Main Event, and he outlasted 2,120 runners to win €1,134,375 at a rowdy final table that included a pair of Brazilians. The final three players cut a money deal with Wiciak besting Brazil's Joao Sydenstricker and British pro Carl Shaw. The final table in Barcelona also included Canada's Santiago Plante, Brazil's Andre Akkari, and Argentina's Ezequiel Waigel.

PokerStars announced that the North American Poker Tour will make a triumphant return to Las Vegas in November. The NAPT returns to the USA after a 12-year hiatus. Resorts World will host the 2023 NAPT Las Vegas with multiple events starting on November 4. The $1,650 buy-in NAPT Vegas Main Event begins November 6.

The next big matchup in PokerGo's High Stakes Duel will feature Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk. The two pros will meet once again in the latest installment of HSD 4 Round 2. Polk defeated Negreanu in their own High Stakes Feud than ended in early 2021 with Negreanu losing $1.2 million after logging 25,000 hands of heads-up NL.

PokerStars released the schedule for the upcoming 2023 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). This year's epic and popular online series features 110 tournaments with three different tiered buy-ins and $80 million in guaranteed prize pools starting on Sunday, September 10 and running for 25 days through October 4. There are 12 championship events on the docket at the 2023 WCOOP.

The World Series of Poker Circuit handed out gold rings to a pair of Main Event champions. German pro Tobias Schwecht was the last player standing at the World Series of Poker International Super Circuit London in the UK, and he banked £480K or approximately $610K USD for winning the Main Event. American pro and WSOP bracelet winner Billy Kopp locked up a third-career ring when he shipped 2023 WSOP Circuit Harrah's Cherokee Main Event in North Carolina for $376,154.

The 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event finally played down from 10,043 entrants to the last player standing in Las Vegas. Atlanta-based pro Daniel Weinman is the 2023 WSOP Main Event champion and he earned a first-place payday worth $12.1 million. He also snagged a second-career bracelet. Americans finished 1-2-3 in this year's Main Event. Steven Jones was the runner up and he won $6.5 million for second place. Adam Walton won $4 million for a third-place finish.

During a fast paced start to the 2023 WSOP Main Event final table in Las Vegas, only three players remain in the hunt for the world championship. Steven Jones is the chip leader with 238M ahead of Dan Weinman (199M) and Adam Walton (165.5M). The trio return tomorrow and will play down to the new champion and the lucky soul who will bank $12.1 million

The 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas reached a final table with nine players remaining in the hunt for $12.1 million and the coveted special bracelet. Adam Walton from Los Angeles leads the final table with 143.8M in chips. Also still alive are Americans Steven Jones and Dan Weinman, Toby Lewis and Dean Hutchison from the UK, Germany's Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Ukraine's Ruslan Prydryk, Juan Maceiras from Spain, and Daniel Holzner from Italy. The final table resumes on Sunday.

The 2023 WSOP Main Event concluded Day 5 when they played down from 441 runners to 149. Zachary Hall bagged the chip lead with 16.1M. Bryan Obregon (12.3M), Liran Betito (11.1M), and Andrew Hulme (11M) are the only other players with more than 10M in chips, while Tony Dunst (8.3M) is seventh overall heading into Day 6.

Day 4 of the 2023 WSOP Main Event saw the money bubble burst early on Monday and when they concluded the action, only 441 players survived and were left in the hunt. American pro Ryan Tosoc bagged the chip lead with 5.12M and two other players had stacks over 5M including Mitch Halverson and India's Aditya Systla. Also, John Racener is currently in the Top 10 in chips with 3.7M.

The 2023 World Series of Poker Main Event continued with Day 3 action on Sunday with both Day2 flights combining for a single field. When Day 3 ended, they got close to the money bubble with 1,517 remaining. Antonio Mallol Heredia from California bagged the chip lead after Day 3 with nearly 1.9M. American pro Chance Kornuth is second overall with 1.88M.

It's official. The 2023 World Series of Poker smashed a 17-year-old record when the $10,000 buy-in Main Event Championship passed over 10,000 in entries and settled on 10,043 runners and a prize pool just shy $93.4 million. The top 1507 players will get paid out with $12.1 million set aside to the champion and the top eight places snagging at least a seven-figure payout. American pro Maurice Hawkins bagged the chip lead heading into Day 3.

The 2023 WSOP Main Event is underway and the first four flights of Day 1 are complete. There's approximately 9,337 entrants in this year's Main Event which broke the attendance record that was set in 2006 with 8,776 runners. Main Event Day 2ABC begins on Friday, and Day 2D is set for Saturday. Nicholas Rigby aka Dirty Diaper bagged the overall lead with 408,800 in chips after a sick run on Day 1D.

Chris Brewer won a second bracelet this summer at the 2023 World Series of Poker when he was the last player standing in WSOP Event #69 $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship. Brewer won his first-career bracelet in the $250,000 High Roller earlier in the series, and he's now cashed in five events for over $5.6 million. Jesse Lonis also won a second bracelet when he shipped Event #71 $50,000 PLO HIGH ROLLER for $2.3 million.

Phil Hellmuth was the last player standing in 2023 WSOP Event #72 $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty NL. The Poker Brat earned a score worth $803K and snagged bracelet #17. Phil Ivey advanced to the final table, but he missed out on winning his eleventh bracelet when he busted in sixth place. With 17 bracelets, Hellmuth has six WSOP victories in the last 11 years since he won multiple bracelets in 2021 including the WSOP Europe Main Event in France.

Jason Mercier became the 21^st player in WSOP history to win six bracelets when he survived a stacked final table in 2023 WSOP Event #60 $1,500 NL 2-7 Lowball Draw. Mercier also denied Erik Seidel a shot at winning a tenth bracelet when Seidel finished in fifth place. Hong Kong's Ka Kwan Lau won Event #57 $25,000 PLO High Roller for a juicy score worth $2.3 million. Also, Mike Gorodinsky won his third bracelet with a victory in the Event #54 $10,000 HORSE Championship.

American pro Jeremy Ausmus becomes the third player this summer to join the WSOP Six Timer Club when he took down 2023 WSOP Online Event #8 $3,200 NL High Roller for a $360,036 score. Brazil's Yuri Dzivielevski picked up a third bracelet when he outlasted 836 runners for a victory in Event #47 $1,500 HORSE. Texan Lou Garza banked $1.3 million and won his first bracelet by shipping WSOP Event #50 $10,000 PLO Championship.

American pro Brian Rast notched his sixth WSOP bracelet after winning the $50,000 buy-in Poker Players Championship for a third time. Rast edged out Talal Shakerchi to win 2023 WSOP Event #43 $50,000 Poker Players Championship and $1,324,747 in cash. Earlier in the week, Chris Brewer took down Event #40 $250,000 NL High Roller for $5,293,556 after he outlasted a field of 69 entries.

Jans Arends from the Netherlands shipped 2023 WSOP Event #29 $100,000 NL High Roller after outlasting 93 runners to win $2,576,729. American pro John Monette joined the Five Timer Club when he was the last player standing in Event #30 $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw. Monette won $145,863 and secured his fifth WSOP bracelet since 2011. British pro Benny Glasser also joined the Five Timer Club when he picked up a fifth bracelet with a victory in Event #38 $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship for a score worth $311,420.

In the last week, several pros added additional hardware to their collection as the 2023 WSOP chugs along. Shaun Deeb was the last player standing in Event #27 $1,500 8-Game Mix (6-Handed) and he joined an exclusive club of 6-time bling winners. Josh Arieh won Event #22 $10,0000 Limit Hold'em Championship for his fifth bracelet. Ben Lamb won a second bracelet in Event #25 $10,000 Omaha 8 Championship.
