The 2025 PGT PLO Series concluded at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas. After 11 events, American pro Jesse Lonis earned Player of the Series Champion honors with the top spot on the leaderboard. Lonis cashed in five events and shipped Event #9 $15,100 PLO for a $204,750 score, and held off Alex Foxen to earn the PLO series overall title. Some of the more recent winners included Christopher Costa, Dylan Smith, Bryce Yockey, Jim Collopy, and Zachary Schwartz.

The PokerGo Tour wrapped up their latest high-roller PLO Series which attracted some of the premier four-card action players in the world. The Aria Casino in Las Vegas hosted the popular PGT PLO Series which included 11 total events with buy-ins ranging from $5K to the $25K Championship. Several familiar faces basked in the warm glow of the winner's circle including Chino Rheem, Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Dylan Smith, Bryce Yockey, Jim Collopy, and Jesse Lonis.
Event #5 $10,100 PLO Progressive Bounty attracted 116 runners and a prize pool worth $1,160,000. The top 17 places cashed with $123,200 set aside to the champion. Among those who went deep and cashed included Dylan Linde, Richard Gryko, Jesse Lonis, Nacho Barbero, Allan Le, Cary Katz, and Bryce Yockey. The final six included Chris Costa, Calbe Furth, Kamel Mokhammad, Nick Schulman, Jordan Glazer, and Alex Foxen. The title came down to a heads-up bout between Foxen and Costa, who chopped the money. For accounting purposes, Foxen was picked off in second place and Costa secured the victory.
Event #6 $10,100 PLO attracted 99 entrants and a prize pool just short of a cool million. The top 15 places paid out with $252,450 set aside to the champ. Several familiar faces cashed including Joao Simao, Artem Maksimov, Ben Tollerene, Billy Tarango, Dylan Weisman, Sean Winter, Jim Collopy, and Daniel Negreanu. The final six featured Dylan Smith, Sean Rafael, Tyler Brown, Stefan Chrisopher, Lautaro Guerra, and Sam Soverel. Rafael and Smith battled for the title, and Smith emerged he victory with a score worth $252.5K.
Event #7 $15,100 PLO attracted 70 runners and a price pool worth just a smidge north of $1 million. Only the final ten earned a cut of the cheesecake. Among those who missed the final six included Athur Morris, Bryce Yockey, Nick Schulman, and Ben Tollerene. The last six standing featured Alex Foxen, Jesse Lonis, Josh Arieh, Artem Maksimov, and Sean Rafael. Lonis could not rally from behind, and Foxen locked up another title to pad his resume. Foxen now has eight career titles after a mini-drought. First place paid out $315,000 plus 252 series points.
Foxen also surged to the top of the leaderboard for Player of the Series with 449 points thanks to one victory and three cashes. Chino Rheem is in second with 307 points but only two points ahead of Dylan Smith (305) in third. Jesse Lonis (289) moved into fourth with his runner-up finish.
Event #8 $15,100 PLO Mystery Bounty was a new event that attracted 78 entrants. The prize pool was $1.17 million and only the top 12 places paid out. The few fortunate souls who cashed included John Riordan, Lautaro Guerra, Brian Batt, Jim Collopy, Sam Soverel, and Chino Rheem. The final six featured Bryce Yockey, Tyler Brown, Daniel Negreanu, Taylor Wilson, Brian Breck, and Dylan Linde. Yockey secured a triple knock out on the bubble, which propelled him into an enviable position. His run good continued at the final table. Negreanu busted in third place when Tyler Brown took him out. Brown met his fate in second place with a runner-up finish work $140,400 but he also banked a whopping $280,000 in bounties. Not too shabby, eh? For his victory, Yockey banked $218,400 for first place plus $105,000 in bounties.
With his fifth cash of the series, Yockey is now in second place on the leaderboard with 403 points thanks to 262 points for his win in Event #8. Foxen still held the lead with 449 overall.
Event #9 $15,100 PLO included 71 entries and a prize pool worth $1,065,000. The top 11 places paid out and the notables who went deep included Dyland Weisman, Bryce Yockey, Nick Schulman, Chris Frank, and John Riordan. The final six included Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Jesse Lonis, Lautaro Guerra, Chino Rheem, and Richard Gryko. Negreanu missed a chance to snatch a second PLO title when he headed to the rail in fifth place. Foxen bowed out in third place, which set up a heavyweight battle between Chino and Lonis. Chino could not pull off any magic this time, and he was knocked out in second place which paid out $202,350 and 162 points. Lonis banked $308,850 for the victory and 247 points.
All three players in the Top 3 on the leaderboard cashed in this event. Yockey only secured 34 points for his eighth-place finish. Chino trailed Foxen by 105 entering Event #9, and he gained some ground on the leader. Foxen still led with 564 points, but Lonis moved into second with 536 points, and Chino was third with 506.
Event #10 $25,200 PLO Championship attracted 60 runners and a prize pool worth $1.5 million. The top 10 places paid out with $450,367 set aside the champ. Among the lucky souls who cashed but missed the final six included Jeremy Ausmus, Artem Maksimov, Firas Kashat, and Tyler Brown. Jim Collopy won the PLO Championship when he outlasted a final table that included Dylan Weisman, Jesse Lonis, Lautaro Guerra, Chris Frank, and Kamel Mokhammad. The overall leaderboard changed. Foxen did not cash in this marquee event, but Lonis took third and added 126 points, which propelled him into the top spot with 662 points.
Event #11 $5,100 PLO Bounty was the final tournament of the series, which attracted 73 entrants and a total prize pool worth $365,000 and the top 111 places paid out. The final six included Zachary Schwartz, Alex Foxen, Tyler Brown, John Riordan, Chris Costa, and Ronald Keijzer. Schwartz picked off Foxen in second place to win $63,510 and $28K in bounties. Foxen won $41,610 and $12K in bounties for a runner-up finish, but only secured 69 points.
Although Lonis did not cash in the final event, he still retained first on the leaderboard with 662 points. Foxen needed a victory in Event #11 to jump ahead of Lonis. Alas, he finished n second with 633. Both players cashed in five events with one victory and three Top 3 finishes. Lonis won over $799K in prize money during the series and won the 2025 PGT PO Series Leaderboard. He was awarded the coveted PGT Gold Cup and a PFT Passport worth $10,000.
Thanks to his run at the PLO Series, Lonis moved into sixth place on the year-end leaderboard for 2025. Lonis now has 786 points with one PGT victory, four Top 3 finishes, and nine cashes. Chino Rheem is currently sits on the top of the 2025 leaderboard with 928 points thanks to two wins and eight cashes. Joey Weisman is second with 907 points, followed by Kristen Foxen (857), Nick Schulman (848), and Negreanu (789).
