Benny Glaser won a third event this summer at the 2025 WSOP and now has eigth bracelets after he prevailed in Event #56 $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball, which paid out $208,552. Germany's Dennis Weiss shipped Event #51 $25,000 High Roller PLO for nearly $2.3 million and his second bracelet. The latest first-time bracelet winners included Kristopher Tong in Event in #55 $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, Matt Vengrin in Event #54 $1,500 PLO, and Samuel Rosborough in Event #52 $1,500 Freezeout NLH.

When you're hot, you're hot. Benny Glaser didn't waste any time at the start of the 2025 WSOP when he won his sixth bracelet in Event #8 $1,500 Dealer's Choice. A couple of days later, he was the last player standing in Event #15 $1,500 Mixed Pot-Limit Omaha 8, and joined the exclusive Seven-Timers Club. With two bracelets in the first 10 days, Glaser surged to an early lead in SOP POY standings. A few other players quickly joined Glaser with seven bracelets including Nick Shulman and Brian Rast. Shulman stepped into the winner's circle for a seventh time when he took down Event #30 $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship. Rast became only the 14th player in history to join the prestigious Seven-Timers Club when he binked Event #50 $10,000 Razz Championship.
Glaser is the only player with eight bracelets right now, and he's just one away from tying the legendary Johnny Moss with nine. Only six players won more bracelets than Glaser: Phil Hellmuth (17), Phil Ivey (11), Johnny Chan (10), Doyle Brunson (10), Erike Seidel (10), and Moss (9).
Event #56 $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball attracted 463 runners, who generated a prize pool worth $1,030,175. Only the top 70 paces paid out. Among the notables who went deep and finished in the Top 25 but missed the final table included Johannes Becker, James Woods, Chino Rheem, Yuval Bronshtein, Ben Yu, Renan Bruschi, Aron Dermer, Kevin Gerhart, and David 'Gunslinger' Bach.
The final table in Mixed Triple Draw had four bracelet winners and included Benny Glaser, Schuyler Thornton, George Alexander, Mark Klecan, Michael Balan, David 'Bakes' Baker, and Chris Klodnicki. Thornton was unable to deny Glaser another piece of hardware when he busted in second place. Glaser banked $208,552 and the bracelet. So far this summer, Glaser cashed four times (for approximately $623K) and won three bracelets. With $9.3 million, he moved into ninth on the all-time England money list. He's close to becoming only the seventh English player to pass $10 million in career live tournament earnings.
Event #48 $1,000 Senior's NLH Championship attracted 7,575 players and a prize pool worth $6,666,000 million. The top 1,137 seniors earned a cut of the cheesecake. Brett Lim was the last senior standing when he slapped his first bracelet on his wrist and fondled a stack of cash worth $653,839 for outlasting a final table that included Elan Lepovic, Dennis Carlson, Jose Boloqui, Lawrence Rabie, Jason Reels, Manish Madan, Ron Fetsch, and Peter Fellows.
Event #51 $25,000 High Roller PLO attracted 489 players. Only the top 74 places paid out of the prize pool worth $11,491,500. Dennis Weiss outgunned a final table that included Phil Ivey, Michael Duek, Talal Shakerchi, Jeffrey Hakim, Evan Krentzman, Najeem Ajez, and Lautaro Guerra. Ivey busted in sixth place and missed a chance at #12. Shakerchi hit the bricks in fifth place. When Hakim was picked off in third place, a heads-up battle was set between Duek vs. Weiss. The German prevailed, and Weiss won his second bracelet and $2,292,155 in cash. Duek snagged $1.53 million for a runner-up finish. Not too shabby, eh?
Event #52 $1,500 Freezeout NLH attracted 2,320 players and a prize pool north of $3 million. The top 349 places paid out. Samuel Rosborough won his first bracelet and$410,426 when he denied Asher Conniff a chance at his second bracelet. The final table also included Michael Rossitto, Tanupat Punjarojanakul, Eric Berman, Bryan Piccioli, Carlos Kinil, Charlie Cuff, and Julio Belluscio.
Event #54 $1,500 PLO attracted 1,564 players and a prize pool just north of $2 million. Only the top 236 places paid out. Matt Vengrin banked $306,791 for the victory and claimed his first bracelet when he outlasted a final table that included Bryce Yockey, Punnat Punsri, Qiaonan Liu, Jacob Snider, Matthew Beck, Antti Marttinen, Tomer Daniel, and Jason Stockfish.
Event #55 $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship attracted 207 runners and a prize pool worth $1,925,100. The top 32 places paid out and among the notables who went deep but missed the final table included Dylan Smith, Todd Brunson, Johnny 'World' Hennigan, Cary Katz, Huck Seed, Ryan Miller, Shaun Deeb, Daniel Zack, Matt Glantz, Patrick Leonard, Matt Grapenthien, Ari Engel, and Yuri Dzivielevski. Kristopher Tong outlasted a top-heavy final table that included Maximilian Schindler, Brad Ruben, Jason Mercier, Marco Johnson, Alex Livingston, Scott Seiver, and Walter Chambers. Tong banked $452,689 and his first bracelet for the victory.
