The 2021 Super MILLION$ Main Event on GGPoker had a $10 million guarantee and it attracted only 976 runners during their high roller series. Ben Ward took down the Main Event for a $1.2 million score and e outlasted a final table that also included Alexandros Kolonias, Javier Gomez, Sebastian Gaehl, Shankar Pllai, Kramsimir Yankov, Thomas Muehloecker, Wei Zhao and Benjamin Chalot.

It's been a wild week of high-rolling and high-balla action over at GGPoker. They hosted Super MILLION$ Week, which started February 28 with 31 events and concluded with the Main Event Championship. In total, there were $30 million in guaranteed prize pools, which outgunned their super high roller series a few months ago.
The last time GGPoker hosted a Super MILLION$ Main Event, Belgian pro Davidi Kitai shipped it for a sweet score worth $727K.
The $10K Super MILLIONS Main Event had a guaranteed prize pool worth $10 million. They fell short of the mark when only 976 players were in action at GGPoker. That meant there was a slight overlay for the top 100 players who caught a piece of the juicy prize pool.
Ole Schemion bubbled the Super MILLIONS Main Event final table in tenth place. Ben Ward headed into the final table with the chip lead. The other final table players included Shankar Pllai, Thomas Muehloecker, Alexandros Kolonias, Kramsimir Yankov, Wei Zhao, Benjamin Chalot, Javier Gomez, and Sebastian Gaehl.
China's Wei Zhao was the first player to bust at the final table in ninth place, followed by France's Benjamin Chalot.
Thomas Muehloecker, a pro based in Austria, busted in seventh place, which paid out $366K.
Bulgaria's Krasimir Yankov hit the bricks in sixth place, followed by American pro Shankar Pillai in fifth place, Pillai had a decent score worth $547K.
Germany's Sebastian Gaehl saw his run go kaput in fourth place, which paid out nearly $700K.
Spain's Javier Gomez got picked off on a bad beat when his Ace-Queen lost to Ward's Queen-Jack after a Jack spiked on the flop and ended Gomez's run in third place. Gomez banked $818K.
The final two was a heads-up battle between the United Kingdom and Greece. Ben Ward held the chip lead 59M to 38M over Greece's Alexandros Kolonias
On the final hand, it was a classic race between pocket nines and Big Slick. Kolonias' nines were outflopped by Ward when the Ac hit the flop.
Alexandros Kolonias banked a cool million for a runner-up finish. Not too shabby, eh?
Ben Ward took home a sick score worth $1.2 million for shipping 2021 Super MILLION$ Main Event.
