Excellent episode this week. Don't miss S11E34. Succulent, as they'd say. If you're not listening to Club Poker Radio, then what are you waiting for? Ah, so it's in French. That's a minor obstacle. Luckily parts of this week's episode are in English because Canadian pro Kristen Bicknell joined the second half of the show in an exclusive interview with Gaelle.
Suppercaddy at Club Poker explained the tandem of Benjo and Jermone were at ease behind a keyboard, but they were even more comfortable behind the microphone. Both were the guests on the newest episode of Club Poker Radio.
If you don't know, Benjamin Gallen, a.k.a. Benjo began his journey in the poker world with Club Poker. Benjo cut his teeth as beat reporter covering the earliest days of the European Poker Tour. He also covered the WSOP in Las Vegas during the height of the online poker boom. Since then, he's parlayed his success as a journalist into the editor and chief position at Winamax.
Jerome Schmidt is the founder of Poker52 magazine, one of the top publications in Europe. Jerome is also an award-winning publisher of fiction and non-fiction books. Jerome has exquisite taste in finding non-French manuscripts to bring to audiences in France. I'm not just saying that because he published my book Lost Vegas into French. And in a freaky "six degrees of separation" coincidence, Benjo translated the book from English into French.
The second half of this week's episode features Kristen Bicknell. The Canadian pro quickly proved she wasn't a one-hit wonder by shipping her second-career bracelet at the 2016 WSOP. She's seeking her third this summer. Overall, Bicknell won $1.8 million in tournaments. Last year, partypoker added Bicknell to their team of sponsored ambassadors.
