The folks at partypoker have a new pitchman for their partypoker US operations when pro Darren Elias was tapped as the company's latest brand ambassador. Elias is one of the best players to ever set foot on the World Poker Tour with four WPT titles and now he's a vital part of partypoker's strategy in their legal US markets.

When it comes to dominance at the World Poker Tour, you cannot think of the modern WPT without mentioning Darren Elias. The pro from the East Coast first made a name for himself with not one, but two WPT victories in 2014.

Elias shipped the 2014 Borgata Poker Open for a score worth nearly $645K before he added a second win at the 2014 WPT Caribbean. He proved his success at the WPT was not a fluke with two more victories in 2017 and 2018. At the 2017 Fallsview Poker Classic in Niagara Falls, Canada, Elias emerged he victor for his third WPT title. In 2018 in Las Vegas, Elias added a fourth WPT crown to his resume with a big win at the Bobby Baldwin Classic after he defeated Kitty Kuo heads-up for the title.

Elias holds the record for most WPT titles with four, but he's the most successful player in history with the most final table appearances and most WPT cashes.

Overall, Elias banked over $8.6 million playing in tournaments. He's also won almost $8 million in online tournaments, but his exact total is unknown if you add up cash games.

partypoker decided to add Elias to their expanding roster of brand ambassadors. The American pro is the ideal candidate, especially with the ability to promote the partypoker brad at live events on the East Coast and in Las Vegas. The World Poker Tour is still one of the most popular tours in the world and the dominate tour in North America, so it feels like the suits at partypoker made the wise choice with Elias.

"As partypoker US Network continues to expand, I'm excited to grow with them and bring accessible, championship-level online poker to players across the USA," said Darren Elias. "As an online Main Tour event, I believe that the upcoming WPT Online Borgata Poker Open can fill a void left by the postponement of many live events this season. I hope to 'see' many of friends on the felt, as we all try to put our name on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup."

Elias will get his first chance to be an ambassador later this month at the WPT Online Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The $3,500 buy-in event has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and the final table will be live streamed for fans all over the globe.

"During his career, Darren Elias has been a strong advocate for the game of poker," said Matthew Sunderland, VP of Gaming at BetMGM. "We're thrilled to welcome him to the partypoker US Network team and look forward to working together to elevate our brand and drive awareness for the WPT Online Borgata Poker Open and beyond."

"Excited to announce my partnership with the @partypokerUS and @BetMGM team and to help build online poker in the USA," tweeted Elias.
