Down to the final six.
After almost a week of play in Prague, we're finally down to the final table. A total of 1,044 runners took a shot at the €5,300 buy-in Main Event at the EPT Prague. They were vying for a first-place pay day worth €921,540. Only six players are left in the hunt with Ilkin Amirov (Azerbaijan) leading the way with a shade under 10 M.
Only one French player remains, Olivier Ferrero, but he's the short stack with 1.7M. Two other players from France busted on Day 5. Ivan Deyra went deep, but finished in ninth place, which paid out €68,560. Bruno Lopes was dunzo in 18th place and took home €35,800.
Ilkin Amirov made EPT history by becoming the first player from the country of Azerbaijan to make a final table. Amirov made a name for himself early on Day 5 when he won a four-way all-in. He took Kings into battle against Q-Q, J-J-, and 9-8 suited. Amirov busted three players on a single hand and now he's the chip leader with six to go.
