The €50K High Roller at the EPT13 Barcelona is on the cusp of the final table. They are down to nine players with a couple of familiar faces still alive. Erik Seidel is representing old school Vegas pros is Erik Seidel, while the sizzling Fedor Holz is holding the torch for the new school pros. The German wunderkind has been crushing high roller events over the last year and won the One Drop High Roller for his first bracelet at the WSOP this summer, so it's no surprise he made another deep run. Alas, Seidel is short stacked while Holz is second overall. Tim Adams is the overall chip leader.
A total of 78 runners took a shot at the €50K High Roller and they added an additional 24 bullets for 102 total entries. The money bubble burst late on Day 1 and only 13 lucky players got a cut of the prize pool. Among those fortunate souls included… Connor Drinan (13th), Adrian Mateos (12th), John Juanda (11th), and Stanley Choi (10th). The final nine locked up at least a 137K for ninth place. They're all vying for a first place windfall worth €1.3M.
