The 2017 Aussie Millions $100,000 Challenge at the Crown Casino in Melbourne is down to its final table of seven players. Steffen Sontheimer is the chip leader and fellow German Fedor Holz is second. Also at the final table are Mike Watson, Nick Petrangelo, Sam Trickett, David Peters and David Steike. Only the top 3 places pay out with the winner $882K AUD. The final table will be live streamed by Jason Somerville.

Retirement? Doesn't matter if he's trying or just casually playing, but no one can stop Fedor Holz it seems. The young German made two final tables at the Aussie Millions this week. The Main Event will play out on Sunday afternoon Melbourne time, while the high roller final table kicks off on Saturday afternoon (which is Friday evening Vegas time).
The High Roller event a.k.a. the Aussie Millions $100,000 Challenge will be a great final table to watch. This Aussie Millions baller event features Fedor Holz and David Peters, two of the hottest players in 2016. Fedor Holz won so much money last year that he decided to retire before the summer ended. These days he's running a venture capital firm and sharing his favorite books on Twitter. Oh, and he's playing events on the side. Holz showed up at the Aussie Millions as a "tourist." Not only did he make the final table of the Aussie Millions Main Event, but he also final tabled the High Roller event.
Seven players are still alive in the 2017 Aussie Millions $100,000 Challenge. The final table kicks off shortly with German Steffen Sontheimer in front and Fedor Holz close by in second place. This event only attracted 18 players and the top 3 places pay out. First place gets at least $882K Aussie bucks. Also still in the hunt for the title…Mike Watson, Nick Petrangelo, Sam Trickett, David Peters and David Steike.
The final table starts at 7:10pm Vegas time. Watch Somerville's commentary via Twitch....
