Paul Phua Poker released a new video featuring Daniel 'Jungleman' Cates. In this special video, Jungleman delivers a mini-masterclass in short-handed tournament play.
Jungleman! Everyone loves to watch Jungleman in action. He's quite the character. Jungleman spent time overseas playing high-stakes games in Asia. That's where he met Paul Phua. Jungleman has been helping out with Paul Phua's Poker School. Phua is a regular in the Big Game in Macau, but it often shifts locales. Phua started his poker school a couple of years ago, which has been giving out lots of free advice to beginners. Phua managed to line up interviews with some of the top pros including Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett, and Dan 'Jungleman' Cates.
Earlier this year, Phil Ivey made a rare cameo in a training video in which Phua asks Ivey, "What makes up a great poker player?"
In the most-recent released video, the Paul Phua Poker School shared a video snippet with Dan 'Jungleman' Cates. The infamous Jungleman sat down to share some advice on short-handed play. He's a short-handed guru and essentially shared some advice that is really something out of a min-masters class.
Jungleman stressed the importance of ICM. As he explained "ICM matters a ton in the late stages of tournaments."
