The 2021 WSOP Online Series is underway at WSOP.com and 11 players were awarded online bracelets already including Maing Loeser, who finally won his first-career bracelet. Loeser, playing under the moniker Ohio77, shipped Event #2 Monster Stack for $104,313, but he really wanted the bling. The live-version festival known as the 2021 World Series of Poker will not begin at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas until this fall. For a second summer in a row, the WSOP headed online with bracelets awarded in the WSOP Online Series at WSOP.com (and later on at GG Poker). Each day so far, the WSOP doled out a shiny new piece of bling to the champion.
The 2021 WSOP Online Series began with the Big 500 Kick Off, which had a $500 entry and attracted 1,277 entries to the first virtual bracelet event of the summer. Jose 'deposit' Noboa banked $105K for his first bracelet win by surviving a final table that included Chris "basile28" Basile, Ye "yuan365" Yuan, 'LND999', Ryan "PostmatesSel" Franklin, Steve "gborooo" Gross, 'chuckthebum', Shannon "Aulophobia" Shorr, and Michael "ParxBigStax" Marder.
Manig 'Ohio77' Loeser outlasted a deep field of 1,038 entries to win WSOP Online Event #2: $600 NLH Monster Stack. Loeser banked $104,313 for outlasting a final table that included Mark "Nostradonkus" Liedtke, "WompDatTHomp", Damian "martillo1978" Alonso, Jordyn "ThLstCrdBndr" Miller, Justin "LappyPoker" Lapka, Craig "mrjanovich" Mason, Julie "i.win.13" Polatchek, and Alexandre "alexmdm" Besse.
Donnell 'Spreezy52' Dais locked up his first bracelet by outlasting 950 entries in Event #3: $500 NL Turbo Deepstack. Dais beat a final table that included Mike "SammyTwizz" Azzaro, John "sn1p3rjdubz" Duci, Patrick "Brokerpat" Megna, Simon "BagelBites" Lam, Andrew "grandpaed" Neeme, 'itilthard', Yonghui "pokermaster8" Jiang, Joon "jykpoker" Kim.
Jeffery 'Steelvikes7' Hoops banked $73,861 for winning WSOP Online Event #4: $500 NL Super Turbo. Hoops bested 850 entries on the Fourth of July. The super-turbo charged final table included Ryan "sYchoSiD" Hohner, Guo Liang "ct188" Chen, Martin "bathroomline" Zamani, Matthew "Bizpoker18" Beier, Mycheal "JJcorrado87" Robertson, Wendy "Cardthartic" Freedman, Vinny "brownmagic" Pahuja, Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler.
Jeremiah 'freestylerr' Williams is $139,600 richer after binking WSOP Online Event #5 $1,000 NL 8-Max and outlasted a field of 459 entries. The final table also included Chung "Vegasbroke" You, Joshua "zeal1906" Ray, Matt 'RubberFist' Stout, Gary "phiI_ivey" Kosakowski, Francis "Pickitup" Sharp, Adam "Shakusky" Richardson, and Kevin "vamonospest" Lutz.
Tyler 'ShipTheShip' Denson won WSOP Online Event #6: $2,000 NL Deepstack and outlasted a field of 416 players to win $175,700. The final table for the Deepstack included Steven "Girlcanplay2" Kelly, Ben "WhyIsGamora" Yu, Demetrios "GOGGINS" Petrou, Al "bigal16" Riccobono, Jeffrey "PlusEv905" Schwartz, David "ImDeboGodz" Dibernardi, Kenneth "ACE710" Neri, and Mike "helionic" Dyer.
Michael 'stiltwalk' Mercaldo shipped Event #7 $77 NL Lucky 7s for $123,574, even though the 777 event had 888 entries. Carlos Welch binked WSOP Online Event #8: NL Crazy Eights for $124,368. Event #8 attracted 782 entrired with 268 additional entries. Welch outlasted a final table that included Joon 'jykpoker' Kim, Dylan 'thesmith' Smith, Adam 'PESOPESO' Krach, John 'thirteen' Del Rossi, Dan 'fatdan44' Wach, Isaac 'going2ship' Fermin, and Joey 'JoeBeagles' Katzen.
Phil 'wingsuiter' Beck took down 2021 WSOP Event #9 $400 NL 6-Max for $81,534. He outlasted a field of 788 entries and survived a final table that included Justin 'pocketprofit' Wong, Kenneth 'ace710' Neri, Ameer 'CashIsK1NG' Wakil, Kristian 'Daaanutzzz' Michl, and Aaron 'WompDatTHomp' Thivyanathan. The Grinder and Daniel Negreanu went deep and cashed, but missed the final table.
Michael 'njnj17' Leib cashed for the third time in ten events, but finally broke through the winner's circle to win WSOP Online Event #10: $333 NL. Leib outlasted 1,517 entrants (986 runners with 531 re-entries) to win $81,645. The final table for Event #10 included Robert 'LuckyLuch11' Aronowitz, Richard '3ofspade' Bruner, Dan 'oiltrader513' Shak, Michael 'helionic', Mijael 'Diaper_money' Meza, Vinny 'Vinnyj88' John, Michael 'MMenz08816' Menzer, and George 'gkon86' Konstantoulakis. Notables who cashed in Event #10 included Shannon Shorr, Tony Dunst, and Anthony Zinno.
Vijay 'Eclypzed' Para won WSOP Online Event #11 $400 NL Ultra Deepstack for a score worth $86,210. Para outlasted a field of 1,417 entrants (1,078 original runners plus 339 in re-entries). Para survived a tough final table which included Felix 'madenspauwke' Vandeput, Alex 'rip_neiko' Rocha, Alexander 'ShadowFiend1' Condon, MasPollo, Anthony 'Nowb3Athat' Spinella, Jordan 'DroppinDimes' Ragan, Anthony 'heheh' Zinno, and Jesse 'Rebuysexual' Cohen.
