Santadogspoker2019

Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza, and Happy Holidays to everyone out there. May the poker gods bless you with multiple flopped top sets and turned boats. May all your draws fill in and may all of your opponents whiff on their big draws. And most of all, I hope Santa Claus surprised you with a Bluff Detector, because you really cannot start the new year without having one of those handy at the tables.

It's that time of year when the holidays approach and things can get a little weird and very crazy between all that tilt-inducing holiday music in Ubers and malls and at your Aunt Jenny's house (which she started playing on Thanksgiving, yikes!) and being haunted by the numerous ghosts of Christmas past that you're trying to avoid. That's why you should take a moment and be grateful for online poker and other forms of internet gambling that let you sneak off for a few minutes to fire up an SNG and stave off family tilt.

Or perhaps it's been a financially challenged year and you need a little extra cash for the holidays, so what can be better than shipping a tournament in the final week of the year, to help stuff those stockings with a little more than usual or help pay off those credit cards with a gift from the poker gods in Supreme Holidaze mode. That's why you should check out the latest tournament festival on PokerStars called the Winter Series.

If you do not have a crazy family, then you're one of the rare ones. So, kick back and celebrate the fact you can enjoy or holidays without much drama.

And for our 420-friendly readers, fire up a fatty and load up that dab rig… because the HOLIDAZE are upon use.

Luckily, we got you covered on the holidays no matter what you celebrate, or do not celebrate. So please allow us to take this time to tell you how much we appreciate you… yes you. The holidays can be lonely so I just want to say hang in there. The holidays can be very tough, especially if you recently lost a loved one, or if your kids are all grown up and moved far away. Luckily there's online poker and other forms of gambling to help soothe the soul on cold and dark days during the holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by and reading us both today and yesterday and whenever you've stumbled across this site and realized, “Holy Vince Van Patten!!! We secretly stumbled upon the return of Dr. Pauly! He must really love writing about poker or he's super broke just like us!”

Perhaps that funny thought is enough to keep you sane during the insane and highly-emotional holiday season. Whether you're a well-adjusted happy soul, or a total malcontent during the holidays… we want to wish you positive vibes and want to let you know that we've also been through the dark times as well. Sometimes you need to focus on the small things and little things in order to navigate this slippery slope of the holidays. Luckily that's where online poker and the poker community come into play.

I've personally gotten through a couple of dark times in my life thanks to the community of strangers at the poker table – both in real life in brick and mortar rooms and in the virtual world. Like that Velvet Underground lyric, “Her life was saved by rock and roll.”

Well, that's how I feel but for poker. My life was saved by poker. I do not want to sound too cheesy or gushing about things, but I'm one of the luckiest people on the planet because I stumbled into the online poker realm almost 20 years ago. The tables and action distracted me on the hardest days and it lifted me up on the impossible days and it helped make me smile and smirk on the days I wanted to bury my hand in the sand and scream all night long.

There's a fine line between holiday and holidaze, so if you have a crazy family like me that love to argue about everything, especially politics and arcane sports statistics, then you should do what you can to survive. If that means getting a little saucy, then so be it. If you want to practice some self-restraint, then do what you can to shine on your insane and troublesome relatives and keep counting the minutes down until you can fire up your favorite online poker software and bust some holiday donks.

Merry Christmas to all of our readers… past, present, and future. The Club Poker community originated in France nearly two decades ago and has been going strong all over Europe and the rest of the world since then. Many thanks for following along.

We shall leave you with a video that's become a funny, but odd tradition here at Club Poker. Much love to Lindsay Lohan for helping us get through the holidaze with one of her best moments on film…
