Last year, they were in Brazil last March, but this year, the partypoker MILLIONS South America went down at the Enjoy Resort and Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay. If you're not familiar with Uruguay, it's nestled on the Eastern seaboard of South America and nestled in between Brazil and Argentina. It's the hotspot for many wealthy Brazilians and Argentinians, who have majestic houses along the beaches.
The partypoker MILLIONS South America series headed to Uruguay for stop. This year's MILLIONS Main Event has a $10,300 buy-in and attracted 465 runners from all over the world through various feeder satellites plus a slew of Brazilian players.
The partypoker MILLIONS South America final table of eight included Pablo Silva, Fabio Colonese, Daniel Rezaei, Andres Viola, Sergio Di Pego, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Pedro Madeira, Fabian Gunz, and Rafael Caiaffa.
Charles Kassin missed the final table when he bubbled in tenth place.
Rafael Caiaffahit the bricks first at the final table after busting in ninth place. Pedro Madeira busted right after in eighth place.
Fabian Gunz's run ended in fourth place, which paid out $310K.
Daniel Rezaei bounced in third plcae which paid out $435,000. With his elimination, the heads-up bout was set up. Pablo Silva and Fabio Colonese squared off heads up for the MILLIONS South America title and $1,000,000 in cash.
Colonese busted in second place, which paid out $640,000 to the runner-up. Not too shabby, eh?
Silva won the tournament, the trophy and a cool million.

Meanwhile, the Enjoy Resort and Casino in Punta del Este also hosted the partypoker MILLIONS Super High Roller. Only the top five places paid out for this $25K Super High Roller affair. James Romero took down the SHR in Uruguay for $325K. The other players who cashed included Marty Mathis, Jacob Daniels, Ivan Luca, and Francisco Benítez.
