The Poker Masters quickly became a popular series among the high roller crowd. With the quarantine underway during the coronavirus pandemic, the Poker Masters teamed up with partypoker to create the Poker Masters Online. The first installment will include 30 online events -- with buy-ins from $10K to $50K -- running from Sunday, April 12 through Sunday April 26, 20200 on partypoker. The first Poker Masters Online has a guaranteed prize pool totaling $15.2 million including a $2 million guaranteed Main Event.

Poker Masters Online

The one thing everyone needs right now... online poker. And poker pros will have a high roller, high ballas series just in time to keep them sane during various lockdowns across the globe as the coronavirus pandemic threatens to alter life and society as we know it.

Luckily, two huge brands decided to join forces in this weird time. The folks at PokerGO and partypoker teamed up to create the Poker Masters Online.

The Poker Masters had been a series hosted at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas with plenty of high roller action. Sure, it seems like the same cast of characters were usually playing in those high balla affairs. But now, with the migration of Poker Master Online, the public has a shot at taking cracks at big time pros fighting for big time money.

partypoker will host 30 high roller events under the Poker Masters Online umbrella. The first one begins on April 12 and over the next 15 days, there will be 30 total tournaments. That breaks down to two per day at 18:00 and 21:00 UK time.

The Poker Masters Online events will be NL or PLO and either short-handed with 6 players or a full ring of 8-max. Sadly, no short deck in this series!

There will be three buy-in price points: $10,300... $25,500... $51,000.

These Poker Masters Online events will all have guaranteed prize pools. In total, at least $15.2 million will be put up by the hosts, including the $2 million guaranteed Main Event.

On Sunday, April 26, there will be the $51,00 buy-in Poker Masters Event #29 Main Event. It's an 8-max NL affair with a whopping $2 million guarantee.

"We are pleased to be able to give players the chance to continue doing what they love and play the tournament in online format," said partypoker managing director, Tom Waters. "The Poker Masters brand carries significant weight in the poker community and we believe this innovative online format will be appealing for fans and players alike."

"We know partypoker is the right landing spot for our tournament brand to evolve into a new format," added Poker Central President, Sam Simmons. "We value this partnership as a way to bring the poker community together in these uncertain times."
