Finland's Patrik Antonius won a pot worth nearly $1.98 million pot on PokerGo's No Gamble, No Future stream. Antonius was involved in a multiway pot with casino owner Eric Persson during a hand of $1,000/$2,000 NL hold'em. Antonius doubled up and set a record for the largest cash-game pot in American televised poker history.

Ship it to Finland! Patrik Antonius is no stranger to big pots, so it's not surprising that he was involved in the latest record-setting pot that went down over the weekend on PokerGo.

The high-stakes cash game stream was part of the No Gamble, No Futureseries that was a three-day series which filmed and streamed at the PokerGo studio inside the Aria Casino in Las Vegas.

The stakes for this event was $1K/$2K NL with a $2K big blind ante. Six players took part in this particular stream including Patrik Antonius, Eric Persson, Rob Yong, Andrew Robl, Markus Gonsalves, and MJ Gonzales. Persson is the owner of Maverick Gaming, which owns over 26 casinos in Washington state, Colorado, and Nevada.

When the hand began, Persson held over $1.04 million in chips and Antonius sat behind a stack worth approximately $971K.

Persson held Carte Dame de trèfleCarte 9 de trèfle and opened with a raise to $7,000.

Yong called with Carte As de trèfleCarte 2 de trèfle on the button.

Antonius woke up with Carte As de cœurCarte Roi de cœur from the small blind, and he re-raised to $30,000. Persson called and Yong called. There was $94,000 in the pot preflop.

The flop was Carte 8 de cœurCarte 3 de cœurCarte 3 de trèfle, and both Antonius and Persson flopped flush draws.

Antonius bet out $40,000, Persson raised to $140,000, and Yong folded. Antonius thought for a few seconds and re-raised to $250,000. Persson called. The pot swelled to $594,000.

The Carte As de pique fell on the turn, and Antonius improved to two pair with a nut-flush draw.

Antonius led out with a $150,000 bet, and Persson didn't blink before he moved all-in for $759,000. He had Antonius covered, who had just $524,000 remaining. Antonius called all-in with Aces up.

"Yeah I'm dead," said Persson before an F-bomb slipped out of his mouth.

The innocuous Carte Valet de trèfle fell on the river, and Antonius dragged the pot worth nearly $2 million. In total, the pot was worth $1,978,000 and set a record for largest cash-game poker pot in US televised/streaming history.

The world record was set by Kane Kalas in May 2018. Kalas dragged a $2.18 million pot against Jason Koon in Montenegro.

Back during the peak of the online poker boom in 2009, Antonius and Isildur1 clashed on FullTilt Poker in a PLO hand that was worth nearly $1.4 million. At the time, it set the record for largest online hand in poker history.

That was around the same time that the poker world was trying to figure out the real identity of Isildur1, which we now know is Swedish pro Viktor Blom. Isildur1 took the poker world by storm in late 2009, but he had some of the craziest swings in history when numerous pros took a shot at the unknown Scandi hellraiser. Brian Hastings notched the biggest score when he fleeced Isidulr1 for $4 million.

Antonius is #1 on the all-time money list for Finland with nearly $13.8 million in tournament earnings. But, he's won substantially more in cash games.
