    News WSOP Circuit Marrakech: Sofian Benaissa Main Event Day 1A Chip Leader; Day 1B Underway The Main Event at the WSOP Circuit Marrakech is off and running at the Casino de Marrakech. Only 55 out of 146 players bagged up chips at the end of Day 1A. France's Sofian Benaissa ended Day 1A as the chipleader. Pierre Neuville and Barny Boatman are both still alive and advanced to Day 2. The second flight of the Main Event is in full swing with almost 200 more entries.

They're playing for a €111,776 first-place payday. Guillaume Darcourt ended Day 1B as the chip leader with 214K. Selides and Belgian Anthony Rodrigues made a heads-up deal, but Selides defeated Rodrigues for the coveted ring and a seat in the WSOP Circuit Championship in Las Vegas. For first place, Selides took down €95,479.
