Amaya CEO David Baazov to Take Leave of Absence

David Baazov, CEO of Montreal-based Amaya (a.k.a. PokerStars), announced he is taking a voluntary leave of absence from the company for an indefinite amount of time. Baazov will use the time off to focus on buying Amaya and fighting insider trading charges by Quebec's stock market regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).
