Paul Petraglia wins WPT bestbet Jacksonville; Local pilot denies Darren Elias a fourth WPT title

Three-time WPT champ Darren Elias was seeking his fourth-career title in Jacksonville, Florida at the WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble. No one has won four WPTs... yet. Meanwhile, two-time WPT champ Sam Panzica was seeking his record-tying third WPT crown. Both pros fell short of the mark and failed to outlast a tough final table that included a savvy pilot Paul Petraglia. Elias busted in third place, which set up a heads-up battle between Petraglia and Panzica. The pilot didn't back down against the pros. Petraglia went on to defeat Panzica in a 96-hand heads-up battle. Petraglia won a first-place prize worth $315,732. And no, he has no thoughts about quitting his day job.
