Mike Gorodinsky Wins 2015 WSOP Player of the Year

Although his POY overall lead going into the WSOP Europe was vulnerable, Mike Gorodinsky held off Brian Hastings and Shaun Deeb in Berlin, then edged out Jonathan Duhamel to win the 2015 WSOP Player of the Year.

 

The new POY accounting system, powered by GPI, drew tons of criticism and ire from the poker community… but then again, that always happens.
