Martin Kabrhel won his second bracelet at the WSOP Europe when he took down Event #9 €100,000 King's Super High Roller at the King's Casino in RozVegas. Kabrhel outlasted one of the most difficult final tables in recent memory with five bracelet winners, including Michael Addamo, who won Event #9 €25K SHR two days earlier. Kabrhel defeated David Peters heads-up for the win. Kabrhel banked €2.6 million for the win.

ESPN released a new episode of their 30 for 30 podcast. This documentary series by ESPN focuses on the oral history of Chris Moneymaker and the 2003 World Series of Poker, which help fueled the poker boom. Several high-profile figures participated in the episode including Chris Moneymaker, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, tournament director Matt Savage, former WSOP media director Nolan Dalla, TV producer Matt Maranz, and Norman Chad.

Get ready Southern Europe. SECOOP is coming! The first-ever 2018 Southern Europe Championship of Poker starts on October 28, There will be a total of 149 events running from October 28 through November 12. There's at least 5 million in guaranteed prize pools with three Platinum Passes up for grabs. The Main Event starts on November 11. It has a modest €250 buy-in and €1 million guaranteed prize pool.

They played all night but the eighth bracelet event is in the books at the 2018 WSOP Europe in RozVegas. Michael Addamo, a pro from Melbourne, Australia, won the Marathon bracelet this summer in Las Vegas. He won his second-career bracelet after he outlasted a treacherous final table at the King's Casino that included Mikita Badziakouski, Dominik Nitsche, Manig Loeser, Winfred Yu, and James Romero. First place in the Event #8 €25,500 Super High Roller paid out €848,702. Addamo has now passed $3 million in career earnings. Mikita Badziakouski finished in fourth place.

Another first-time winner at the King's Casino in RozVegas! Anson Tsang from Hong Kong cashed in his third WSOP Europe event and took down Event #7 €2,200 PLO. Tsang beat Ilya Bulychev heads up for the bracelet and a score worth €91,730. WSOP POY leader Shaun Deeb multiabled his final table run in Event #6 Mixed and this event, which he cashed in 20th place.

The World Series of Poker Europe crowded another repeat bracelet winner. Hungary's Norbert Szecsi previously won a bracelet at the 2013 WSOP for a $345K score. At the King's Casino in RozVegas, Norbert Szecsi took down WSOP Event #6 €1,650 Mixed PLO/NLHE. Szecsi denied Shaun Deeb his third bracelet of 2018 when he knocked Deeb out in second place. Szecsi won €86,596 or a shade under $100K USD for the victory.

At the 2018 WSOP Europe, Timur Margolin outlasted 666 players to win Event #5 €1,100 NL Monster Stack. Margolin won €134,407 for first place. Timur Margolin won the third bracelet for Israel in five events. Margolin won his first bracelet earlier this summer when he binked a $2,500 NL event for a $507K score.

Hanh Tran, a cash-game specialist from Austria, joined a special club of poker players who shipped bracelets at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and the WSOP Europe. During the summer Tran won a Lowball bracelet. At the King's Casino in RozVegas, Tran won Event #3 €550 PLO for a score worth €59,625. French pro Romain Lewis took third place and final tabled his fourth WSOP event of the year.

The third bracelet was awarded at the King's Casino in RozVegas on Wednesday night. The TURBO event attracted 387 players. Mykhailo Gutyi picked off Florian Sarnow heads up to win Event #4 €1,100 NL Turbo Bounty Hunter, plus the bracelet and €61,299 in cash.

Back-to-back bracelets for Israel at the King's Casino in RozVegas. The second event of the WSOP Europe was a €1,650 buy-in NL Deep Stack affair. Asi Moshe faded a field of 221 to win €82K and his second-career bracelet. Tamir Segal from Israel won Event #1 Colossus the previous night. Meanwhile, Shaun Deeb padded his Player of the Year lead when he finished in 11th place.

In February 2018, Micah Raskin was arrested by Nassau County, New York prosecutors on five drugs and weapons-related charges for dealing marijuana to associates in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Raskin, a poker pro with approximately $2 million in cashes, was swept up in Long Island's largest weed bust according to the District Attorney. Raskin's home in Westbury, NY and storage unit in a nearby town were raided by law enforcement. Police seized over 350 pounds of marijuana and hash oil with a street value estimated at $500,000. According to the Baltimore Sun, Raskin was also charged in U.S. District Court with distributing 100 kilograms or more of marijuana.

The World Series of Poker Europe began in 2007. It's only a decade old, but has a deep history already. The WSOPE has been played out at some of the coolest spots in Europe including London, Cannes, Berlin, and now in RozVegas! The Main Event was won by some of the biggest names in poker including Phil Hellmuth, Annete Obrestad, John Juanda, and Adrian Mateos.

The 2018 World Series of Europe starts on Tuesday, October 9 at the Kings Casino in Rozvadov. This year's WSOPE runs through November 2 and will feature 10 bracelet events including the €10,350 buy-in Main Event championship. There will be a WSOPE-version of the COLOSSUS that has 8 opening flights. The MONSTER STACK will also make an appearance in Europe. There's a pair of High Rollers with the €25,500 Super High Roller and €100,000 King's Super High Roller. In total, there will be €13 million in guaranteed prize pools, including a €5M guarantee Main Event and High Roller.

The 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK is finally over. After a week of action at the Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, we have a winner in the £5,300 buy-in Main Event Championship. Ioannis Angelou-Konstas faded a field of 1,015 players to win £940,000. Angelou-Konstas knocked out Alex Foxen in second place. They made a heads-up deal. Foxen banked £720,000 for a runner-up finish.

D&B Poker Publishing announced they are publishing new titles in 2019 including a long-awaited strategy book by 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymer. Fossilman's Winning Tournament Strategies will be released in July 2019. D&B Poker is also publishing a book on poker and popular culture by Martin Harris. The veteran poker reporter and college professor authored Poker and Popular Culture: Telling the Story of America's Favorite Card Game, scheduled for release in June 2019.

Former sports bettor and high-stakes poker pro Haralabos Voulgaris is joining the Dallas Mavericks according to a report by ESPN. Voulgaris, also known as Bob or by his Twitter handle @Haralabob, is finally getting his dream job: running the analytics department of an actual NBA team. Since the early 2000s, Voulgaris was known in gambling circles as the premier bettor in the NBA. Haralabob utlized his proprietary algorithm, Ewing, nicknamed after former NBA star Patrick Ewing, to predict game totals. Haralabob wagered up to a $1 million on the over/under of a single game.

The 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is only 4 months away. PokerStars released the 2019 PCA schedule of events that includes 41 tournaments. PokerStars also released details behind the first-ever $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC). PokerStars let the players decide on key elements to the PSPC like selecting the length of each day, a dinner break, big blind antes, shot clocks, and even the price of a min-cash.
