Juan Pardo won a pair of single day High Rollers at the 219 EPT Barcelona. Pardo shipped the €25K for 491,600 and took down the €50K for a little over €1 million. He earned over €1.5 million for two days of work. Pardo defeated a difficult final table in the 50K that included Steve O'Dwyer, Seth Davies, Tim Adams, and Lucas Greenwood.

The PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) returns. But it will not be in the Bahamas. The next PSPC will take place on August 20-24, 2020 in Barcelona, Spain. The event will be another $25K buy-in affair (actual price tag will be €22,500). PokerStars will be awarding an unknown number of Platinum Passes to the next PSPC in Barcelona.

Sandra Mohr directed "Poker Queens", which tells the story about the first female poker pros and follows several notable players during the 2019 WSOP. The doc debuts on Amazon Prime streaming services in November. Liv Boeree, Jen Harman, and Kathy Liebert get top billing. E-Tay, Kelly Minkin, Kristen Bicknell, and Loni Hardwood also get screen time.

The 2019 EPT Barcelona is underway in Spain. The €100K High Roller is in the books and Spain's Sergi Reixach faded 64 runners to win €1,816,210 or approximately $2 million USD. Reixach defeated Sam Grafton heads-up for the title. The final table included Steve O'Dwyer, Lucas Greenwood, Danny Tang, Kahle Burns, Tsugunari Toma, Rui Ferreira, and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau.

The 2019 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) kicks off on September 5, 2019 and runs through September 23 with 73 events. Each event has three tiers of buy-ins, except the Main Event which has two tiers. Event #70-L Main Event has a $55 buy-in and $1.25 million guarantee. Event #70-H has a $5,200 buy-in and a $10 million guarantee. The 2019 WCOOP includes four UFC-branded events, plus a first-ever charity event.

In the ongoing war between bots and humans, partypoker took another huge step in the right direction after it removed 121 bots in July 2019. This is the largest crackdown since earlier this year when partypoker revealed their newly formed Poker Fraud Team eliminated 277 bot accounts over a four-month period.

The 2019 partypoker LIVE EUROPE Main Event has come to a close. Czech Republic's Lucas Zaskodny outlasted 504 players to win a cool million (USD) or €906,770 per terms of his heads-up deal with Josef Snejberg. French pro Romain Lewis took third place. Team partypoker pro Roberto Romanello, Sam Grafton and Charlie Carrel also made the final table in RozVegas.

Turkey's Orpen Kisacikoglu outlasted a field of 32 runners to take down the Triton Super High Roller €100K at the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe event in RozVegas. The €100K final table also included partypoker Pro Kristen Bicknell, Vladimir Troyanovksiy, Ben Heath, Wai Kin Yong, and Cary Katz. Kisacikoglu banked a cool million in Euros.

The Triton Super High Roller Series concluded its London event with the 100K buy-in Short Deck Main Event. Justin Bonomo bested a field of 108 runners to win £2,670,000 or approximately $3.2 million. His final table included Paul Phua, Ike Haxton, Rui Cao, Liang Xu, and Wai Kin Yong.

After the Triton Million in London, Bryn Kenney took over the top spot on Hendon Mob with $55.5 million lifetime earnings. He passed Justin Bonomo's $45.2 million. Kid Poker is still third with $41.8 million. Dan Smith ($36.7 million) and Erik Seidel ($35.7 million) round out the Top 5.

The 2019 Triton Super High Roller Series London continued with the £100,000 NL Main Event championship. The Main Event attracted a record-smashing 130 runners. The tough final table included Jungleman, Stephen Chidwick, Michael Chi Zhang, Sam Greenwood, Mike Soyza, Ben Heath, Paul Phua, and Wai Kin Wong. The top two chopped, but Wai Kin Yong eventually defeated Phua heads up for the title and the cash for £2,591,695 or approximately $3.15 million USD.

The action in London continues for the Triton Poker London. Charlie Carrel took down the £50,000 NL 8-Handed event for $1.6 million. Swiss pro Linus Loeliger won £690,000 or $841K USD for the £25K single-day Turbo that actually lasted two days.

Aaron Zang won the richest tournament in the history of poker when he defeated Bryn Kenney heads up and overcame a 5-1 deficit to win the million dollar buy-in 2019 Triton Million in London. Zang and Kenney made a heads-up deal, so Kenney actually banked more as a second-place finisher with nearly £16.9 million. With over $55.5 million in earnings, Kenney took over first place in the all-time money winner list according to Hendon Mob.

After two long days of action, the £1,050,000 buy-in Triton Million is down to its final table. Vivek Rajkumar leads the final eight that also includes Stephen Chidwick, Tim Adams, Bryn Kenney, Alfred DeCarolis, Aaron Zang, Dan Smith, and Bill Perkins. First place pays out £19 million in this charity event that raised £2.7 million for a Helping Hand Charity.

The Triton Super High Roller Series is in London with a special charity-driven Million buy-in SHR that attracted 54 runners and raised £2.7 million for A Helping Hand for Charity. At the end of Day 1, only 26 players remained with Bill Perkins holding onto the big stack with 3.5 million.

The 2019 Triton High Roller Series in London features the Million for Charity, a £1,050,000 million buy-in event with portion of the pool set aside for charity. Day 1 is underway in this invite only event with a mix of high-stake rec players and high-stakes ballers. This event had 54 players with only the top 11 places getting paid out and £19,000,000 to first place. At least £2.7 million got raised for charity.
