Mark those calendars. April 14, 2019 will be the 13th anniversary of the Sunday Million on PokerStars. The $215 buy-in event boasts a $10 million guaranteed prize pool, including (at least) a cool $1 million set aside to first place. Qualifiers underway for as little as $0.90.

StarsBday13Milly

For less than a buck, you can take a shot at the big time. PokerStars is currently running special qualifiers to the 13th Birthday Bash of the Sunday Million. Wow, the Milly is growing up before our eyes. It seemed like just yesterday, the first edition of the Sunday Million became a common staple for the Sunday grind.

It's amazing that this tradition continues. Poker has gone through many phases and cycles since the inception of the Sunday Million. Yet, the Sunday Milly is still standing as a time-honored tradition for amateurs and pros.

The Milly ran over 600 tournaments over the years and gave away over $750 million in cash. Holy moly, Batman! That's a sick amount of loot. So sick as Elky would say. Super heady and dank as fahhhhk, as one of my ski bum friends from Colorado would say.

You can celebrate the Sunday Milly for its awesomeness by taking a shot next month. Who doesn't want a chance at winning seven figures for less than two days of work?

I mean, how can you agree with a $10M dank guaranteed prize? Plus, you can qualify for under a buck. Sats for less than a buck.

Yup, that sounds crazy and up the wall, but if you sit back and bust some donks, you can win a free seat into the Sunday Milly. From there you can parlay that ticket into a million-dollar score. After that, you will have more friends than you know what to do with including cousins you had not seen in a decade and random uncles that you thought died decades ago.

"We're thrilled to be a part of this poker milestone," said Severin Rasset, Director of Poker Innovation and Operations at The Stars Group. "But the credit goes to all of the poker lovers out there who have made the Sunday Million happen nearly every week for the past 13 years, so we hope to see them at the tables on April 14."

You can win Sunday Milly tickets by playing Spin & Gos. But you can also win a cool million with a simple spin. Click here for those details.

Last year, PokerStars had a birthday party for their 12th anniversary of the Sunday Million. Except... not too many people showed up for that $10 million guaranteed prize pool and it was a juicy overlay for the players. Instead of looking at the lack of interest as a fiasco, PokerStars did a quick pivot and doubled down on the promotion. They launched the Sunday Million Mulligan much to the delight of players and gave away a bunch of Platinum Passes to the Bahamas.

Or buy-in directly and take a shot at a cool million for a mere $215. Don't forget to mark those calendars. April 14. PokerStars celebrates the 13th anniversary of the Sunday Million.

Traditions, bruh. Traditions.
