This year's installament of the Winter Series begins on Christmas and runs through January 12, 2022. A total of 291 events will take place including 252 tiered and 39 non-tiered events starting as low as $2.20. The Winter Series Main Event on January 9, 2022 will be three tiers with over $4.5 million in guarantees.

Between December 25, 2021 and January 12, 2022, PokerStars will host three tiers of events plus non-tiered events for a total of 291 different tournaments. There's not a better way to pad your bankroll to end 2021 and start 2022 on a high note.
PokerStars utilizes three tiers of events to placate players of all shapes and bankroll sizes with a low, medium, and high versions. There will be 252 tiered events this year in the Winter Series, but they're also hosting 39 non-tiered events. Buy-ins are as low as $2.20 and go as high as a $10,300 High Roller.
The Winter Series kicks off on Christmas with a bang. There's 14 tournaments on Christmas, so you'll have plenty of chances to get your poker fix, including with Monster Stacks. And if you're a Grinch or an Xmas hater, then this is a perfect opportunity for you to drown out the horrible Christmas songs and ditch your crazy family for a shot at padding your bankroll by busting some yule-tide donks.
Keep an eye on some special dates, like January 9, 2022. That's when the Winter Series will host the Main Event. There's three different buy-in levels at $55, $530, and $5,200. There's $4.5 million in guarantees at stake in the Main Event including $2 million for the high-version, $1.5 million for the medium, and $1 million for the low.
For all of you PLO-heads out there, mark this date: January 9. There's gonna be a PLO Main Event with a $215 buy-in and $250,000 guarantee.
On the first Sunday of 2022, there's the special $215 buy-in Sunday Two Million with $2 million in guaranteed prize pool.
There's also a pair of Phase events that are already underway. Satellites are also running. You can qualify for the Winter Series Main Events via $4 and $22 Spin & Go's.
