The Aria Casino in Las Vegas will host the first 200 hands of the Daniel Negreanu vs Doug Polk high-stakes challenge that will consist of 25,000 hands of $200/$400 NL. The initial first 200 hands of this event will be captured live on PokerGo and available for free for all poker fans on November 4 at 5pm PT. After that, the two jousting pros will head to WSOP.com to finish off their 25K bout. KidPoker is the underdog at 4/1 odds.

It's the event we've all been waiting for! Okay, it's the event after the event we've all been waiting for. On Wednesday November 4, the day after Election Day in the USA, Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk will finally begin their High Stakes Feud and heads-up challenge after months of smack-talking and trolling each other on the internet.
It's one of the biggest wagered, single event in poker history (aside from the 2020 election, ho hum!) with Negreanu getting 4/1 odds over the heavy-favorited Polk. Negreanu attracted plenty of bettors and even from some folks that have also feuded with Negreanu over the years. Even the haters see great value when its offered up to them, which is why there's significant money on the line.
If you're just finding out about this high-stakes challenge, then you'll be in for a treat. The rest of us who have been following along with the two sparring at each other on Twitter cannot wait for these two to step into the ring. They agreed to play $200/$400 HU NL online with two tables of action anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week until they finish up 25,000 hands. There's an out clause at the midway mark and the loser can cut their losses at 12,500 hands, or they could choose to increase the stakes in order to try to get unstuck.
Polk, a man of the people, wanted to get fans in on the action with a free stream. The two settled on an in-studio start of live poker (just one hand at a time) at the PokerGo studios at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas. It will be available on PokerGo app, plus streams will be free on YouTube and Facebook.
Should be fun and one of the craziest events in the history of poker... or it will be a snoozer. Who knows? Show up to find out.
"With Negreanu and Polk's perennial rivalry and constant conflicts on social media, 'High Stakes Feud' will be a match fans will not want to miss," said Mori Eskandani, Executive Producer at PokerGO. "The one-on-one match format between these notable poker professionals, along with the possibility of this game lasting multiple months makes the outcome of each day in this series a must-see."
Must-see TV indeed! A lot of pros talk smack to one another, but these two were bold enough and had the balls to actually play heads-up for rolls!
Set your alarms for Wednesday 5pm PT on November 4 for the start of the glorious heads-up, high-stakes challenge to settle the feud of all feuds.
And get ready for a long slog. This challenge could take a month or two! Hopefully they'll complete it before the end of a wild, weird, and crazy 2020.
