It's been a busy day at PokerStars headquarters for live events. There's new dates for the EPT Barcelona in late August and the EPT Prague in December. In addition, the PCA returns after a hiatus at a new venue at Baha Mar in the Bahamas. The second-ever PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) and its $25K buy-in will also take place during the PCA for a fun two-week festival in the Caribbean starting January 22, 2023.

It's like your favorite band breaking up, and then getting back together. You know that the folks at the Red Spade could not keep the PCA on ice for eternity, which is great news for poker players and pros that loved flying down to the crystal-blue waters of the Bahamas for an annual pilgrimage for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
The PCA ended its supreme reign in 2019 with the last-ever running of the popular event. In the fall of 2019, PokerStars announced that there would not be a PCA at the start of 2020, but instead they were focused on a huge PSPC in Barcelona in 2020. Alas, the pandemic reared its ugly head and it never came to fruition.
But now, the PCA is back and will be hosted at a new venue after wearing out its welcome at Atlantis. The Baha Mar Hotel and Resort in Nassau will be the new home of the return of the PCA in January 2023. And it will also host the 2023 PokerStars Players Championship.
The return of the PCA is set to run for two weeks starting on January 22, 2023 and ending on February 3. The PSPC begins January 30 and concludes on February 3.
"We have missed our live events as much as our players, so it is our true pleasure to announce the PokerStars Players Championship will take place at Baha Mar in January," said Severin Rasset, Managing Director & Commercial Officer of PokerStars.
