The announcement of Tom Dwan's participation whipped the poker community into a tizzy. It's one thing for PAD to return to the fold, but it's an entirely different beast that Durrrr is involved. Tom Dwan became a mystery the last few years. He was holed up in Asia somewhere playing cash games against the wealthy businessmen from China.
Then there's the rumor mill and it was difficult to separate fact from fiction. Was Dwan really working off a debt to foreign entities? Was he dodging outstanding debts from sportsbetting high balla Haralabob? Only Dwan and the parties involved know the real story.
