The second day of WSOP Main Event began with players from flights Day 1A and Day 1B. A total of 1,847 hopefuls stepped onto the killing fields to battle it out for Day 2A/2B. By the end of the night, only half survived the cut. We're still far off from the money, but at least those players will continue to fight for the glory, the bling, and $8 million in cash.
At this point, 3,992 players are remaining with approximately 3,000 players returning to action for Day 2C.
Day 2C plays out on Wednesday and the remaining players combined into a single field for Day 3 on Thursday.
